I have had the good fortune of fishing with Pete several times, both in Chokoloskee and Bahia Honda, and have had a great day each time. Pete knows where to fish based on tide, wind, water temperature and color, and who knows how many other factors. His boat is fast, comfortable, and very well equipped. Most importantly, Pete is great company.I can't imagine being in the area and not fishing with Pete at least for a day. I have recommended him to friends, including one who was traveling from New Zealand.

I reviewed Captain Pete's last year about this time. My wife and I had so much fun then that we booked a charter with Captain Kurt as part of this years annual Florida trip. To say that the charter was as good as we remembered would be an understatement. I'll start by saying we saw some great wildlife including dolphins, a manatee, a turtle and a bald eagle which flew by low over the boat. But let's talk about the fishing. After losing one shark and catching another small one we got into sea trout. The action was furious as we caught a limit of trout, all nice sized. At one point I saw a Tarpon jump and another time had the drag on my reel scream until better than half the line was gone and the line was finally cut near the hook. Wish I knew what it was but maybe next year.... As he had last year Captain Kurt worked hard to continuously keep us in spots where we found action. We caught a total of ten species of fish during our trip. We also went home with plenty to eat. I can't say enough about how Captains Pete and Kurt met and exceeded our expectations of a great charter again this year. Also great was being recognized from last year and treated like friends. Being taken fishing by guys who obviously enjoy it makes the experience that much better. Thanks so much, and we'll see you again next year!

Pete is a great guy, who is determined to make your trip a success and we sure enjoyed our experience! Good equipment, knows the area/water well, plenty of fishing experience.

Lol, when it's cold enough to see your breath when you leave the dock, and the wind is blowing white caps, you have to really want to catch some fish.
