Our first visit here and we were very impressed. Whoever designed this place was thinking about everyone. Baseball fields, skate park, dog parks, walking trails, tennis courts, hand ball . . . like I said, something for everyone. We took one of the trails that starts from the parking area and takes you over a small pond. If you look around you'll be amazed at all of the things in and around the water. If you're taking the drive called "The Loop", you should stop and check this area out.
Skate park, fields, tennis courts and great for running on sand! Plus there are two sets of bathrooms and for a park, both are always clean.
Kuddos for a dog park - but it felt like an after thought next to the ball fields.....while there were some (wooden) benches, the plastic chairs didn't seem to fit in. There was a hose and several buckets vs. a (dog) water fountain. Felt that it needed to be raked - lots of trees (good for shade).
Free tennis courts, skateboard park, handball or racquetball courts. Neat little walking path and if you are lucky you will see an alligator in the swamp under the walking bridge! Great fun for a family or just a lace to stroll and clear your head.
Great place to take the family! Something for everyone...skateboard, tennis, walking and bike trails and more. Easy to get to at the west side of the of the bridge on Moody Blvd (SR 100). While you are in the area you can take a walk of the bridge and get to see the town of Flagler Beach. Come on and enjoy our town.
this park is behind the school. It has swings slides and climbing equipment. It has really big fields and picnic tables as well. There is a lot of parking. also a bike path. it is for younger children up to 8-9.
Something for every one. Skateboard park, tennis, field for soccer, walking trails. Popular place for family gatherings. And fenced in dog park.
There are places to sit, but there's so much to do. A playground with swings and a slide for kids. A skateboard park. Three tennis courts (2 lighted). Racquet ball courts. Basketball courts (2, I think). A boardwalk. The park is at the (west) foot of the S.R. 100 bridge, so it's a good taking-off point for a very scenic jog or walk.Parking is tricky when the soccer fields are in use, but otherwise adequate.A covered pavilion with picnic tables and grills can be reserved through Flagler County Parks & Recreation. (www.FlaglerParks.org, 386-313-4020)Kudos to the County staff who keep the rest rooms in good shape.
My sister took me to this park on a recent family vacation in Florida. It is GREAT!!! So many things to do there--skate boarding, dog park, etc. We were walking on the boardwalk checking out the water plants and turtles the day we visited. It is a clean, well maintained and lovely park.
Having been there on numerous occasions I've noticed it's the coffee club or afternoon gathering for the the local old snobs. They have 2 different sections, one for very small dogs, (the snobby afternoon crowd) and the regular section that's very large. Doggie doo doo bags at the entrance but never used at the large side of the park. Plenty of fake fire hydrants for your male dog to pee on trees and bushes for the explorer hunting type dogs. I was bringing my medium sized dog to the park about 9 years old very friendly but hunter orientated. Walking the fence line were about 7 to 10 dogs barking and pacing out of control and the owners did nothing. I've been there before a year ago and recently within 2 months.my dog was shying away and didn't want to even go to the park, she was tugging me the whole way until the other little dogs went crazy then I had to Practically drag her in there. We stayed five minutes and left. The large outdoor area was loaded with doo doo, and could hardly walk around Without stepping in a pile. My dog came up with ticks on her that I noticed when I got home. This place is the Pitts worst dog park I've ever been to. Recently they had to close the park do to a dog tested POSITIVE FOR PARVOVIRUS . The flagler officials closed the park for a week and claimed to disinfect the area. I love my pet way too much to ever bring her back to this slime hole. I found a better place just down the road from there that I will not discuss because I don't want all of snobs to come over there.
Excellent park on SR 100 just over the bridge from Flagler Beach. Huge soccer fields, basketball, raquetball, tennis, playground, horseshoe pits, baseball diamond, canoe launch, and skate park. Park is always busy and regularly patrolled by Flaglers finest. There are gators in the pond under the boardwalk, so don't swim!
Dont miss this one if you have dogs. It's got a hidden gem of a dog park. Also there are walking trails, ball fields and a skate park.
What a great park for kids and adults. It has something for everyone. Skate park, tennis, playground, baseball fields, basketball court, soccer fields, dog park, horse shoe pits, a boardwalk over a small lagoon with turtles and gators in it.
