hallandale beach

Loved the water, it was warm and crystal clear however you must bring your umbrellas and beach chairs.

Narrow beach in the shadow of tall condos once the sun moves west. You have to keep moving your beach chair or blanket to get sun between buildings. Limited public parking. Better to go north about a mile to Hollywood beach which has a great brick Boardwalk and lots of shops for eating or beach clothing.

This beach has limited parking available and fewer amenities than Hollywood Beach (no Boardwalk, fewer places to eat, etc) but if you only want sand and water, it is a nice beach.

This beach isn't desirable. It starts at the end of Hallandale Beach Blvd., has limited parking, very little sand, not always kept clean and if you just drive north, about a mile, you could be in Hollywood Beach which is totally different for the better. Sort of in the back of monster condos.

Beautifully maintained with adequate lifeguards and weather flags. But , not easy to access unless you are staying on the beach itself. Poor public parking and signage is limited

We stayed in Hallendale and this was our local beach. Unlike some of the other beaches within say, a 10 mile distance, this one didn't have a lot of beach, meaning not a lot of sand. There are condos practically on the beach, which is pretty normal these days down that way. If you're staying in the immediate area then by all means go to the beach there; it isn't bad.

The beach itself may lack convenient parking but you have to like the sand and seclusion. It does not get a huge crowd and allows a little individuality.

The beach was awesome. Like most off the ocean. They offered electric bikes as well as regular bikes to rent.

The beach was clean with lifeguars on watch. The visitors were dressed decent and it was family oriented. There was a flag to let you know it was safe for swimming. There were umbrellas and beach chairs for rent or you could take your own. The wáter was warm and clean. Parking in the garage was available for $1.25 an hour. Shopping centre is nearby with Wallmart and other stores.

The beach is good, because it's not so crowded but not as good as Miami Beach. There were many seagulls flying over our head. It's a beautiful scene, but sometimes annoying too.The surrounding area is great for a walk or riding a bike. There is a big Walmart very near if you need anything to eat or drink at the beach

I was near this Beach with my family last April 2014. It is at the end of Hallandale Ave. The entrance is behind the Fire Station. It is open, clean and large area of ​​white sands. The water is pure ocean, blue/green transparent with low waves.Two blocks of the beach you have a commercial area with Wall-Mart supermarket, then if you need something, you may get it near the beach.Enjoy this area with the family.

what would be bad if the weather is around 90 & you don't have to work... :) Nice sand, warm ocean, friendly neighbors around on the beach & good friends with you !

Family friendly beach. Nice.This area has become more posh. But still there are pockets of neighborhood that need improvement.

I went there real late at night and of course its just a beautiful and serene view. There were a couple of hobos sleeping there.

Clean Family friendly beach. It was narrow but we never had trouble finding a great spot to enjoy the day. The ocean was calm most days and seemed more like a lake.
