All the new changes have made this a destination as the new dining spots, the new landscaping, and the great ocean views add up to a good time.
The golf course is very well kept and the walking trails to Snooks Island are beautiful. Places to sit and view the natural beauty as well as biking trails and boat launches. Restrooms are available by the amphitheater.
This course is a basic course ,not very challenging,However ,it is easy to putt 10 strokes higher than normal. The greens are never good! Other courses in the area for comparable pricing are more worthwhile!
Lake Worth's municipal beach has under gone a wonderful facelift. A visit to the revamped facilities is very worthwhile. Offering 2 great restaurants and Kilwin's ice cream; what cold be better?
The children's playground contains several unusual climbing opportunities and has items that interest all ages. The location by the Inland Waterway makes for a peaceful setting.
Bryant Park is beautiful, has bathrooms, and often is empty so you get to enjoy it in quiet solitude. Festivals are frequent and good. The ocean park is busy and full of things to do, my fave being upstairs at Benny's on the Beach, where you have unobstructed miles-long views along the Atlantic N and S.
You must go eat breakfast at bennies and watch the surfers or other beach goers. The breakfast offerings are many, the serving side big enough to feed two people. I hLove the home made bread. There granola French toast is yummy. I also love there grits bacon and eggs. It is fun to either sit out on peri or upstairs inthe enlisted screened area. Watching the goings on the beach while you eat makes this a special place and makes you glad you are in Florida. Once the mess from the parking lot construction is over this place will be a number one hangout park, and place.
This park is an easy access to the ocean. The only downfall is that parking especially on the weekends can be a problem right now due to the construction going on. It should be quite beautiful once completed.
The title says it all. It's just another of the parks along the shore. Although Benny's may be worth the trip.
The seawall is crumbling in places and the city has allowed the park to be usurped by pickup soccer games that make it impossible to enjoy the park in late afternoons. More attention needed to the grass, but tax revenues are down for the city...
We have been going to this festival since 2009 and enjoy the outdoor art tremendously. The website for this claims it to be the largest of its kind in the world. See for yourself in my 2009 video.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlLYoyxcqyE
