Its ok. Had to try it once, after seeing a special on groupon. Took my 8 yr old son. Music was good. You can do the golf in about 30 min. Then do some arcades. Friendly staff. Probably wouldn't come here again just because its so small, but worth to try once.
We always go here .sUper fun abd great price.all ages will love it.perfect family outting.live the music and arcade games.great staff.id always love going.never dirty.i can't wait to go back.as u leave they give u u comeback free coupon for more practice.
Been here four times, pretty good, the waiting time for golf is sometimes lengthy on Friday and Saturday nights plus around 2pm on Sunday. Hit or miss on the service, one of the employees yesterday was holding the door open for five minutes letting out all the cold air plus allowing sunlight in destroying the dark ambiance of the place. When I asked the girl why are you holding the door open so long she said, "oh we're waiting for our birthday clients to come in." I said, you've been holding the door open for 5 minutes, CLOSE THE DOOR! She gave me attitude but finally closed the front door. Surprised owner hasn't done anything about this yet. on a brighter note, DJ was super nice to my kid, she was very friendly
My kids went for a birthday party. The review about finding the location are correct. The building sits back from the streets. I have driven by it before so It was an easy find for the locals but could be a challenge for first time visitors. My kids liked it but said they would rather do something else than go back when asked a few weeks later. Good raining day activity. It is small and good for seven year old and up. My little one is a little freaked out by the cemetery glow in the dark decor. For the b-day party, you get a room for guest and a staff member host. They were great. After the round of golf, they try to sucker you into tokens and video games. It is a waste. Good for the first visit, I would try to find something to do elsewhere next time.
Glow in the dark mini golf? Yes, please! This place is so unassuming from the outside. It's on a strip in Miramar next door to something silly like a Dollar Tree! You would think it's a small hole in the wall type kiddie place but when you open the door...Holy Macaroni!!!! You are warped into this glow world and immediately you're trapped in it and loving it. You walk into the arcade portion with your typical games, air hockey tables, etc...and it takes you a minute to adjust your eyes and take in the whole atmosphere. The area for golf is on the right hand side upon walking in. There was a little bit of a wait since there were several birthday parties but it went by pretty fast. It gave me a chance to really take note of some of the good service provided by some of the employees. One employee got down on his knees to talk to a little 4 year old that was celebrating a birthday. They had a full conversation full of high fives and lots of encouragement. I thought that was pretty cool to watch and I observed good interaction multiple times by several other employees. The facility itself is a monster themed 18 hole mini golf and you can't help but marvel at the wall art and the creativity used throughout. There are animated monsters that talk and move around but nothing scary enough to throw your kid into a tantrum. Overall it was a nice little outing and I'd definitely come back again!
This place was so much fun for our family of four. When we first walked in it looked very kiddie like. We didn't realize how challenging it would be until we began to play. They also have an arcade. The music was pumping and the staff was great. We will definitely return whenever we are in florida.
We didn't realise that this place was indoors and struggled to find it as it is set back from the road a bit and has a small entrance. We took advantage of a two for $10 deal and had an entertaining game of golf in the dark to while away an hour while it was raining.
A social group that I run had an event here, and we had a really good time! Some of the comments that other group members posted afterward: "Very cool mini golf place"; "That place was awesome. I would love to go back"; "Spookiest, most fun and unforgiving Mini Golf we've ever encountered."The minuses are that the music is a little on the loud side, making in-game conversations difficult, and that there isn't much else in the neighborhood to do besides eat. But the people who run it are friendly and helpful, and the course is fun and interesting and has a few real surprises. There are a handful of arcade games too, while you're waiting for your tee time. I especially recommend it for summer, because heat and rain can spoil a regular mini-golf game but can't spoil one here. I plan to go back and host an event there again.
The place is small, but is a good place to go with kids, also teenagers enjoy it. You can also have parties there. Its a different place to try since its dark and everything glows. Its fun and inexpensive, it is at least worth going once and trying it.
My family and I recently had my daughters 5th Birthday party here, and it was amazing! The party room was awesome, pricing is fair, staff as attentive and kind! Who could ask for more? Several of the parents who's children were at our party have made inquiries about parties of their own. Just a easy, fun, and convenient party! Monster Mini Golf is awesome! A++++
Monster Mini Golf in Miramar is a very well done indoor glow-in-the-dark (black light) 18-hole course that would be a tremendous amount of fun if it were not packed into a tiny strip mall space about the size of the Dollar Store next door. Because of the small space, the course is easily overwhelmed by large groups of children, some of whom run around, right through your game. One unsupervised toddler walked onto our "green," picked up one of the balls, and walked off. Other children repeatedly scampered right through our game to go back and forth to the bathroom. There usually is a wait of about 20-30 minutes to play, which would be okay if there were enough arcade games to keep people busy. But again, because of the small space, there are only a handful of games, and generally there is a line of children at each one. Another drawback is that attendants only allow five people to play at a time. That's a strange number; couples come in pairs. I'd allow at least six at a time, so three couples could play together. (Our family of seven had to break into two groups to play the first hole, but we gathered together on the next hole. Since everything went smoothly, the limit of five seems arbitrary and unnecessary.)The facility is super-clean and professionally done. There are plenty of helpful attendants on hand, but they are young and do not really have a handle on the multitude of children running loose. (Note: During summer break, camps bring children to Monster Mini Golf during the day. Avoid this like the plague. Two camps were present during our visit, each with 2-3 adults "supervising" a horde of children running around.)Monster Mini Golf in Miramar would be really great if it had about four times the arcade area, enforced a child/adult ratio, and put up some boundaries along the holes so children can't run back and forth across the playing area. It's not just irritating; someone is going to get hurt.
My son received a coupon for a free round of mini golf from school so we decided to take advantage of it this summer. We called ahead of time to find out when was a good time to come. We came on a Friday afternoon around 3:30pm. The entrance to Monster Mini Golf reminded me of one of these places that sells Halloween costumes and such, but on entering you see arcade games and the actual mini golf course is glowing because of the black lighting. It is definitely a unique take on mini golf, but I think it definitely works in Florida. Indoors is definitely a plus because no matter how hot it is and whether it is raining or not you can play.It costs only $8 for children and $9 for adults, which is pretty good. There are 18 holes to maneuver through. While we were golfing there was a DJ playing a mix of 80's music and there would be little trivia questions that would be asked to receive prizes such as glow-in-the-dark necklaces and bracelets. When we finished golfing my kids wanted to play some of the arcade games. Instead of tokens you put money on a card, but that was a bit frustrating because the games didn't always read the card right away. The staff explained the rules before we started and even gave my daughter a coupon for a free round of golf when we finished so we have an incentive to return. The key is coming at a time when they are not crowded and just have fun.Overall we had a fun time and my kids said they would like to come back. They have party rooms available as well as discounts during the week. Check out their website http://www.monsterminigolf.com/fran-fl-miami/index.html
Sixteen adults had a blast at Monster Mini Golf! They played great music(Prince, Michael Jackson, Journey and current hits) while we were golfing. Also, the DJ took requests. They didn't have every song on the planet, but enough to keep everyone happy. We were dancing while we were waiting for the golfers in front of us to finish their hole. The very friendly staff came around and gave out glow in the dark prizes for answering questions correctly as we were golfing. The course is condensed because it is inside, but takes longer than you think to complete. Allow an hour if there is not a wait and 1 1/2 hours if there is a wait. Also, they have a few other games to play while you are waiting and an air hockey table.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLEtOOK my family of 4 there on a Sunday and was really looking forward to trying this place. when i got there i was told there was a 20-30 minute wait... no problem....45 minutes later i had still not been called. i approached the desk and was told i had at least another 45 minutes as a bday party of 15-20 people was about to play.... not cool adn the girl at the counter wzas very rude... if i had been made aware of the real wait time of an hour plus at the beginning i just would have come back another time.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.....
So we were looking for something to do with the Big 3, so I checked around the internet and found a local Amazon deal for Monster Mini Golf. We arrived with the Big 3 at around 7 and it was mobbed, they allow you to go on the golf course by number, we walked in at 84 and we were 94 so we needed to purchase a game card and approx 40 minutes playing the games. The place has two nice birthday rooms but frankly I can't imagine having a party there with it still be open to the public, the place just isn't that big to run a party thru the golf course. Only 5 players at a time, which was perfect because we had exactly 5 and you can only take 5 strokes, which was about my score every time. LOL. There really isn't much supervision except for the parents who are supposed to be controlling their own kids. We had lots of kids trying to play over us, or backtracking from the hole they were on to all of a sudden stand where we were playing. We actually had one lady who grabbed her kid and stormed across the entrie golf course to take him to the bathroom. But the kids had fun and it wasn't an outrageous cost for them to enjoy themselves, play games, win junk and laugh.
