The course was in pretty good shape when I played, but it's not anywhere near as well maintained as the resort courses in the area. A challenging design with more elevation changes than most Florida courses. When Jack Nicklaus redesigned the course a few years ago, he apparently had a lot of sand, because there are an enormous number of bunkers. The staff was friendly, especially the restaurant staff. A very good course for a muni. Would definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

This Nicholas golf course and club has it all. They offer a great golf course tennis courts Olympic size pool and a wonderful clubhouse with excellent food.The staff is proficient professional friendly and helpful so you'll always enjoy a great day of golf tennis or what ever your preferred sport. Complete renovation recently including jack's signature styled course. Tough enough to challenge good golfers and kind enough not to slaughter a novice. Likely the best city course I've ever played. Nice track. Lunch is actually quite good at the club too which is also open to the public.

The omelet station is consistently good. The table chefs are excellent and obviously take pride in what they do.

The NPBCC Golf course is excellent. If they had the budget for maintenance of a fine private club it would be in the top five clubs in PB County. The bar and dining room don't look like much but the service is friendly and the Reuben Sandwich is to die for. The Tennis Club IS THE BEST public facility in the county. Ten courts, all lit, groomed twice daily, friendly staff and the best price of any club around.

Great location with a few holes running along the intracoastal waterway. This course is difficult if you play from the back tees. Conditions were great, good fairways, tee boxes, and greens. Traps were racked with plenty of sand to contend with. Greens are very undulating and fast. Must stay below the hole to have any chance of making a birdie. All in all a great test of golf.

We were in the area, so we went to the Country Club to see fireworks. We were not sure what to expect, but it turned out to have large crowds and live music. The kids had a great time running around while we waited. The food from the country club was pretty good, and the fireworks were really good. The crowds got in and out with ease, so I would recommend this for anyone looking for a place to see fireworks next year.
