brasher park

This is a nice park for launching a kayak for a short trip . There is plenty of free parking, (no trailers though) and facilities with a picnic area.

I found this by accident looking for something else. We decided to follow the road and see where it went. We ended up at Brasher Park. Didn't even know it existed.From Route 19, turn down Bay Blvd toward the gulf, make a right at the stop sign on Old Post Road and follow it till you get to the Werner Boyce Salt Spring gate. Before going through the gate, make a left on Koons Road and follow it till it ends. You'll find yourself at a small park with a few picnic tables, small set of restrooms and a decent playscape for kids. There really isn't much here. If you're lucky you can snag the one picnic table with a view of the water. I think what makes this park attractive is that it's location is not well known, so let's keep this secret between us.If you found this review helpful, please let me know by clicking the button below!
