If you have a dog, this is THE spot to go. If you don't, it's not so pleasant! I am a dog lover, but I don't want to sit on the beach where dogs are allowed to roam without much supervision.

Couldn't believe how good for dogs this place is !!Great free parking & the most fantastic beach imaginable ! Superb shells, lovely sandy beach & lots of happy dogs running around - my idea of heaven.And - fresh water & a hose to clean the dogs off afterwards.One amazing place

The beach is located just south of the nuclear power plant on the A1A. It is one of the few dog friendly beaches in the area. There is ample free parking and easy access to the beach.

After a Karate tournament went to check out the beach.Beautiful clean long beach. It was a sunny day. Too cold to venture in and swim but ok to get your toes .

Located just south of the St. Lucie nuclear plant this is a wonderful beach if you have a dog that loves to run off leash. Most dog owners know there are very few of these beaches and they are definitely a treasure . It is a great place to meet people who share many common interests in their animals. Walton Rocks is also a great beach to walk as there are long flat stretches and there is good opportunities for shelling.

Super clear, clean water with lots of beautiful small fish and unusual flat rocks and golden sands. Nice nature walk to the beach. Love this natural beach!

I didn't realize this was a dog-friendly beach as I had the whole place to myself on a weekday in January. Upper 60's temps and sunny....no one around but me! Lots of debris on the beach (plastics, etc) was a negative but the abundance of shells made up for that.

Finally found a beach in PSL that I can bring my dog to. Sparky loves to run free but I have not found many places for him to do so since moving to PSL. Finally after some googling I found this beach and boy was it a blast. Sparky made tons of friends!

This is St. Lucie County's only Dog Friendly Beach on South Hutchinson Island. There are other Dog Parks in the County. Your Dog deserves a visit. He/she will love it. And so will you. Just bring the sunscreen.However this is not the Clothing Optional Beach. That distinction goes to Blind Creek Beach just north of Walton Rocks Beach. Blind Creek Beach is NOT a dog beach. So Please follow instructions.

Not a swimmers beach this place is for the dogs.They love it. Just watch out for people who let an aggressive dog loose occasionally.

This beach is on A1A and the only official Dog Beach in the area. You can park for free and there are rest room facilities. The beach is very long and dogs of all sizes are running along the beach and jumping in the waves. If you are even somewhat close by, make this a stop. Most days there are many shells along the beach. Doggie bags are provided so clean up after your dog. The surf can be tricky so it's not for everyone. It's never crowded and be sure to head to Archie's or the Inlet Grille afterward for some nosh.

great beach with lots of beach area and fun to bring your dog. Never crowded and great place for a walk and for shell picking

It's clean and the water was so nice! Our dog had a great time running around, free with other dogs. There are trash cans in the parking lot and a faucet and hose to rinse the sand off. Wonderful place! We plan on going back for sure!

I really wouldn't recommend this beach for family. It has alot of worm reef near shore. It's just south of the Nuclear Power Plant. Not safe for children.

Lovely and long dog beach. Easy to find: right next to nuke power plant. Wash station to clean off. Plenty of parking but can fill up on popular days so get here early. Keep it clean.
