We rode from Inverness, ,15 miles South and back. It is such a beautiful trail with lots to see along the way. We never miss Ferris Groves on the trail for strawberry shortcake and or the best strawberry shake. Such nice people.

It's pretty awesome when you can bike over 30 miles and not have to worry about traffic, especially surrounded by nature. Love this trail! If in Floral City be sure to go to the bakery off the trail. The woman bakes from her home all kinds of yummy pastries and provides some really good complimentary coffee. You can sit in her front yard to consume your goodies.

Runs from Gulf Junction Trailhead just South of Dunnellon to Owensboro Junction Trailhead Sout h of Trilby @ junction of hwy. 301. Generally in good shape. Motels at Dunnellon, Inverness and Ridge manor. Severals places for food near trail.

Have been on every mile of this trail many times and loved it every time. Great way to ride bicycles without the worry of traffic. (After being hit by a car while riding, this is important to me!) Lots of places to park. We tend to park in Inverness and head south to Floral City. The Shamrock there is a great place to have lunch.

Smooth and wide, abundant wildlife, gopher tortoise, raccoon, fox, pilated woodpeckers, multiple birds of prey, deer, bobcat and I think we saw a jaguarundi... I love this trail especially in the early morning or just before sunset. My favorite access point is in Ridge Manor. Great for bike or hike. Try the unpaved trail here too.

This is one if not the best bike trail in Florida. It is well signed, has lots of benches, restrooms and is about 12 feet wide and generally very smooth asphalt. Length is 46 mile and you can get on it in many places along the way.

This is a secluded park where you will see all kinds of natural wonders. Alligators, manatees, etc. This is a bit hard to find, off US 19.

Beautiful hiking trails and miles of paved bike trials. There is a campground that isn't bad but the front part you can hear the highway. The back campground is much quiter and we enjoy staying back there more. The hiking trail goes down by the river, very beautiful trails if you love nature. There is a day use fee in the camp ground part only, not for the trails.

It could have more to offer by way oof camping options but, this is a really nice park to visit and stay for a while.

The trail wanders through parts of the withlacoochee state forest and has some slight inclines as well as flat areas. A great place to go for a walk and take your family and your family pet, if you are there early you will probably be able to see some wildlife.
