Nice atmosphere to this little brewery. I was overall impressed with the variety of beers and the knowledge of the staff. A little light on the ipa selection ( two, a black ipa and a double ipa) but porters and stouts were excellent.
Gotta try this spot! Great beer and food trucks come often enjoy over 20 beers on tap! Bring your family and friends while trying the flight of 4 or 6.
O.K. folks....I will throw a wrench into the all too fabulous reviews so far. Tried a flight after coaxing someone to actually give us a clue as to what was going on. The locals...(and there seemed to be several) ....were milling about so we got the idea it was a self serve type of bar. Not a problem....but perhaps it should be indicated somewhere that the service is at the bar only. Anyway, after trying one beer and a flight of tasters I was really not impressed. Beer is average to be honest. We've travelled around the world and tried many beers so like to try lots of so called craft brewed beers. If you are the average beer person....don't go looking for this place. If you like really different flavors that can be associated with beer then give it a try.
If you like experimenting with a lot of different styles, this is your place. They love making new and different styles all of the time. Atmosphere is only so-so, but the beer is first rate and the owner is as nice as they come.
... And among best nationally. Many varieties, always rotating. In a crowded pinellas microbrewery landscape their beer is best. Sparse bar, but friendly service
My wife and I started going to Rapp Brewery about 5 months ago. Its right up the street from our house and hidden away from the normal strip mall run of the mill places. When walking in your first sight is a giant board behind the bar with 20-30 beers all made onsite. Every beer is $5 flat and well worth it. If your not sure what you like all you have to do is ask for a sample and give it a try or you can order a flight of 5-7-9 different beers. They do not serve food but they have a food trucks that come and set up out side and everyday is something different. This has become one of our favorite place to go after work on Fridays and just relax and try new beer. If your in the area stop by and you will love it.
Greg and his team make some of the absolute best beer in Florida. We appreciate you hosting us and sharing a tour! The 3 daughters Brewing crew.
As a home brewer I have been trying to get to this place for a while since I live north of Tampa. They are located just a few minutes over the causeway or about 20 minutes from down town Tampa. They have about 20 different beers on tap. I opted for a flight of 15 different brews. All were great and the double hopped IPA was my favorite. Excellent place for some good beer. Bring your growlers too.
If you love craft beer, be sure to check this place out! Nice atmosphere, clean, and great prices. Will come back if I am in town.
My wife and I visited yesterday and we loved it!! I had a flight of 6 beers and my wife had a flight of 4. Such a wide variety of beer and all very good! We loved the chocolate hazelnut porter and chocolate peanut butter stout so much we bought 2 growlers of each. Another amazing thing is you can get a growler of whatever beer they have on tap. That is unheard of!! Rapp is a must for any beer lover. Staff was also amazing and so was the atmosphere.
If you like craft beer you will really like this place. Good beer good attmosphere great location in Seminole.
Worth a visit, or two, or three! So happy we found this place on our two day getaway from Sarasota County.Atmosphere/Staff: Loved the size of the place and the laid back atmosphere. The bartender (who's name I can't remember) was friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. She was able to make recommendations and didn't make me feel like an inconvenience asking to sample a specific brew. Free wifi, sufficient amount of seating, and clean.Selection: There was a full menu of 20 brews on tap. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout kicked while we were there, and they were quick to replenish it. Must be popular consider the amount of people coming in an ordering it as well as getting growlers of it. Only had a taste which was full of flavor and tasted like something you would pour over a dessert. My favorite was the Gose. I went there with the intentions on just getting a flight of 4. Well, my intentions quickly changed after tasting the Gose. Even took home a growler. It was full of tangy flavor slightly sour, but not to the point where you go crossed eyed and get instant lip pucker. It was balanced nicely with a light wheat finish. It was a great experience and will be in our plans for the next time we are around the Tampa area. Wish we lived closer.
Rapp Brewing has the best beer anywhere--hands down. An incredible variety of small batch craft beers spanning many different styles awaits you! About 20 beers are normally on tap at any one time, Owner Greg Rapp is constantly changing the mix. Try the 20+% alcohol OMG--Wow! My personal favorite is the Belgian Golden Strong Ale, I can't get enough! And there's free Wi-Fi, very comfortable chairs, and a very attentive and friendly staff, so you can stay for quite a while....
We visited several brew pubs while in the Clearwater area recently. This one was probably the best. They had a large variety. I was offered several samples so I could make my selection. There were 6 of us in the group. The guys did flights. They offered 4,6 & 9 (I think). Overall, between the 6 of us, we tried a bunch of them. The brew pub is in an industrial building. Certainly no frills, but that is part of the charm for me. They had a few snacks available for purchase, but no real food. You could bring some with or order pizza in. Definitely we will go back.
Multiple small batches brewed aday to feed 20 taps. Very inventive, experimental and bold. I had a taster of 6: a berlinerweisse, gose, both of which were superb. Rauchbier (amber lager based) - world class. I have a bit of difference of opinion with the brewer about what the alt and oktoberfest should taste like. Russian Imperial stout pretty much what you would expect - yummy.
