We (snow birds) enjoyed our charter with Captain Joel recently! He is an super guide and knows the ropes! Would definitely recommend him for others. His boat is spotless clean and well organized. Fish on! Go Chicago Blackhawks!!!

Spent a morning this February with Captain Joel on the Fishdaddy chasing fish. He tried several spots and I caught some nice Trout. He used his newly installed tower to sight the fish for me and I did my job and cast to them, scoring a nice 19" trout. He thought the action a bit slow so we continued to search until we ran into some feeding Spainish Mackeral. We didn't leave until 7 nice fish were in the box and our time ran out. He's a great guide. Nice boat. Good time.Ice.

In addition to his great fishing charter, Capt. Joel offers a fun 1/2 day of casual pontoon cruising. 4 of us enjoyed a sightseeing tour of Hernando Beach, Weeki Wachee river, and Bayport. We saw manatees and learned a lot about the area. Joel always has a smile - makes you wonder who is having more fun? I recommend either charter to anyone wishing to spend a few hours on the water.

On the last day of our vacation we decided to go out on a charter, we were referred to Capt. Joel, and it was our lucky day! Capt. Joel was great, he took us to several different spots to put us on fish. There were four of us (5 with Joel) and his boat had plenty of room for comfortable fishing. We ended up with a mixed bag of fish, but the ultimate prize was a 26" grouper, Capt. Joel was very easy-going (even when I got hung up in the rocks) and he was always ready with a fresh piece of bait or a new lure if we needed one. The trip was amazing!!! Great music, great weather, great company and great fishing!!! Can't wait to do it again!!

Capt. Joel Gant provided his boat, fishing equipment and most of all his professional attitude for making the trip excellent. We (2 of us) went on a hald day charter heading out the skies began to darken, Capt. Joel tried to go arounfd them and selected another fish spot, still to stormy so the Capt. went to another direction trying to satisfy us for fishing. The hald day charter went well over the 4 hours and lasted 6 hours when confronted the Capt. he stated that with the bad weather he felt he wanted to allow us more time to catch fish at no extra cost (wow) he helped rig equipment, bait the hooks, take the fish off the hook, teach me the ins and outs and was happy to do so. We really enjoyed the fishing trip and his helping attitude. Plan to do it again in the near future. By the way his boat was in prestine order, clean, and perfect for the job.

Took my 10 year old daughter on Joel's boat for a 3/4 day charter and had a wonderful day.joel was very patient with my daughter casting and baiting her rod and giving her his rod when he had a fish on.great knowledge of his local waters and every location he took us to we caught fish .we caught see bass, lizard fish ,grouper to , houndies,puffer fish and a cracking stingray .. We lost a shark and Joel was distraught that we didn't go home with a shark to add to our haul.great captain and would highly recommend him to anyone wanting a very personal and a educational charter. We took my dad out for Father's Day this morning and had a blast on Fishdaddy Charters. Captain Joel was great, very knowledgeable, gave great tips that helped us catch shark, lady fish, squirrel fish, lizard fish, and a bunch of sea bass*****. Would highly recommend to those looking for small group charters, will definitely use again next time we visit Florida.
