Two wonderful golf courses that are both a good test but fair. Accommodations are first rate and so are the restaurants. Service was also first class. 30 minute ride from Tampa so very easy to get to.

A typical Sunday for me is doing laundry and chores around the house but I decided to treat myself to a spa day. I started with an 80 minute hot stone massage and I did not want to leave the massage bed once it was over, it was so relaxing! The masseuse was one of the best I have ever had. I followed up the massage with the Saddlebrook Signature facial, the esthetician answered every question I had about the products being used and was very personable. I recommend this spa not only to the resort guest but to locals in the area. The spa amenities (steam room, sauna, and whirlpool) were very clean and are hard to find at other spas. The ladies at the front desk made checking in and checking out of the spa a breeze. Every minute there was full of relaxation! Local ladies, sundays are not just for housework anymore!

As with any resort, the spa treatments tend to be expensive. We found them to be well worth the money. I enjoyed a great massage, and my wife enjoyed a lengthy facial.

I went to Saddlebrook spa expecting excellent services based on the price. Facilities and service were nice and somewhat luxurious but not the shining star I was hoping for. Massage therapists were very good. When I booked the spa services, I went over the prices carefully to make sure I understood the total cost. After our spa services, when I checked out, they tried to charge me $70 more than what I was quoted over the phone. I disputed the cost and the supervisor listened to my concerns, initially disagreed with them, and then reduced the cost so I was only paying $15 more than I had been quoted. Might as well not even have had a massage, since I was tense again by the time I left.

I have been to many tennis camps, and this one is by far the most intense. Five hours a day, the maximum number of campers per court/pro is 4 - and many courts have fewer than 4 students. I was there 5 days. I had 1 pro the first 3 days and another the last 2 days. Both were very good, but both had very different teaching methods. There does not seem to be a particular "Saddlebrook Style" of teaching - seemed like every pro I observed did things a bit differently. They weren't even all teaching the same things on the same days. I was traveling alone, and Saddlebrook doesn't really do much to help campers connect with other campers. Once 3 PM rolls around you're on your own until 8 AM. But, you will hit a ton of balls and you will improve. Other places may be more fun. Saddlebrook takes it's tennis pretty seriously. Despite some of the drawbacks, I will certainly return.

Just returned from spring break at Saddlebrook resort. The Resort landscaping on entering spell relaxation and it only gets better. I went for the Hopman tennis instruction which is intense while keeping it fun. The Pros are all knowledgeable and in my case improved my backhand measureably. After 3 hours in the morning (although one can have 2 hours in the afternoon as well) the Pool is too tempting to sweat any more. I have been to other tennis camps but this is the only one that has a great tennis instruction with the amenities of a 1st class resort. I return at least twice a year because of this.

Returned to the Saddlebrook Tennis Hopman Program and we spent 4 days of very intense tennis instruction, 3 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. This is the best tennis camp; they work you hard, you will be tired but your tennis level will go up one class. Great resort, beautiful grounds, good food.

Saddlebrook is a beautiful tennis and golf resort with a great pool, spa, several restaurants and a great tennis academy, which is located within 30 minutes from Tampa airport. We had a brief visit of this resort, on our way to Disney World, so my sons could witness the tennis experience which Saddlebrook has been famous for. We had a wonderful time, special thanks to Mr. Howard Moore, the Tennis Program Director, who went above and beyond to ensure that we had the tour of the tennis academy, opportunity to meet with his staff, and placement of my son in the appropriate tennis clinic the next day, in addition to a great accommodation for 4 people in 1 bedroom suite. The 3 hour morning clinic was exceptionally well run with a low student-staff ratio, and my son received a lot of attention with extremely useful tips for his game along with the other 2 students who came from another country in Asia. We were so impressed that we cut short our Disney World visit to come back for a private lesson before returning home and Martin was a wonderful coach. We highly recommend Saddlebrook Resort and Spa and their tennis clinics, and we hope to return soon for another awesome tennis and resort experience.

Saddlebrook is a beautiful resort with many tennis courts, a golf course and an excellent pool area. We went for the tennis. Four of us had drills with Mitch for 5 days in November. The weather was great and our instructor was terrific. We had lessons for 3 hours in the morning, a 2 hour break for lunch and then 2 more hours on clay courts. We had stretching before playing each time, morning and afternoon. There was also a demonstration by the instructors on a particular aspect of the game. At the end of the day, there were optional tennis contests where you could win prizes. Our play was videoed and analyzed by the tennis director, and he told us what we needed to work on to improve our game. Mitch was very positive and fair. Even though we worked hard to improve, Mitch made it enjoyable. We looked forward to going back each day to work on our skills with him. We felt that we were lucky to have such a positive and sensitive instructor. Everyone from Saddlebrook was really nice and helpful. We also went to the spa for massages and a facial. I think that the massage that I had with Dean ( I think that is his name.) was the best massage I have ever had. I wish he lived near me.It was a great experience, and we were very lucky and happy to experience Saddlebrook.

My girlfriends and I enjoyed a wonderful day at Saddlebrook Resort and Spa this past Saturday. The day started in the late morning when I arrived and was welcomed by a very friendly valet parker and then escorted to the spa to check in. Dana greeted me and then Courtney assisted me in getting settled into the locker room. My friends and I then dined in Tropics restaurant where we enjoyed a lovely lunch (I highly recommend the BMT sandwich: basil, mozzarella & tomato sandwich which is my favorite!). Afterwards, we pampered ourselves with several spa treatments including a facial, hot stone massage, neck, shoulder & back rub and a pedicure. All the services were outstanding! We ended the day at the pool where we enjoyed a cocktail and listened to music while relaxing and enjoying our day together. Saddlebrook is a wonderful place for locals to spend the day with friends or to easily make a nice "stay-cation". We are blessed to have this 5-start resort in Wesley Chapel.

Took advantage of the Couples massage this weekend and glad we did! It was wonderfully relaxing. The spa is beautiful and the staff very professional and courteous. With your treatment you can take advantage of the steam room, sauna or whirlpool for the day.

I did two days of the exquisite tennis camp at Saddlebrook. The value for the cost was outstanding, and I can't wait to return. The quality of the instruction was beyond first rate. Coaches Ty and Mitch were ver yy, very strong. Mitch particularly zeroed in on enhancing my strengths and really driving key concepts home. I am returning home with new tennis skills and a whole new outlook. Most importantly, I'm looking forward to coming back...
