It has everything you need for a perfect sunny day. You have the beach, picnic tables, a large play ground, BBQ grills, a basketball court, Volley Ball nets, and plenty of space for a little soccer or football, to set up a party, or simply fly a kite.

This is a great beach. It has plenty of room for everyone and plenty to do. It has a playground, plenty of picnic areas with grills, volleyball courts, basketball courts and a work out area. Definitely a fun beach.

Spent an hour or so here while passing through Ft. Lauderdale. Nice beach. Clean, with plenty of people, but not too overcrowded.

A Beautiful large Beach with soft sand and close to Los Olas Blvd where plenty of the day could be spent at nearby restaurants, shopping, and enjoying the atmosphere. Family, couples, kids, lots of bikes and a lot of people, but its developed nicely to make the most of the long beach access.

Very nice,clean beach. Only problem was that we didn't see any public washrooms on the beach. Had to go back to the hotel.

Went to beach every day!!! Plenty of space-very clean and felt very safe!!!! Sand was super fine and soft to walk on!!!

A great beach for all, couples, families, groups, old and young. Reasonable cost Parking is available, bathrooms, picnic tables, grills to use, shade available and a beautiful large beach. Close to Los Olas Blvd. we were able to rent umbrellas, cabanas, and chaise loungers. A real gem for visitors and locals.

WE fully enjoyed the beach front wall for people watching, a walk along the beach was very restfull, the beach was bu;sy but not intrusive, the people appeared very relaxed and layed back all in all a worth while time

One late afternoon after doing the Jungle River Boat Cruise we crossed the street to check out the beach. It has a very nice winding paved walkway and a beautiful beach that has picnic tables and grills, some of which are sheltered by tall pine trees. Parking looked to be ample, though we were not there at a peak time (it was about 4:30 or 5 pm) and is metered at I think $1.75/hour. There were even a couple of nice looking basketball courts and at that time of day guys were gathering to get their games on.

You can walk for miles on this clean beach. The sand is soft and there was no seaweed when we visited. The water was very clear, turquoise in close and deeper blue further out. The waves were gentle - it was not possible to surf here or even to really ride the waves. The beach seems to slope down fairly quickly, do you don't have to go out very far to be able to swim. Lounge chairs are available to rent, but close down shortly after 4:00. There is the beach, then a wide sidewalk, then a road, then shops and restaurants, so you can easily leave the beach and get to food and shopping. There is paid parking, but it seems as if it might be difficult to find a spot unless you arrive early.

The water is beautiful! The weather is warm in February unlike up North where everyone is escaping the snow and the cold winter! However, this is just not a great set up, especially for people with kids. The beach is a bit shallow. There is no boardwalk. Or boundary of any sort. When you walk off the beach there is a sidewalk and then BOOM traffic! While sitting on the beach or at a table at a cafe on the other side of the road you smell exhaust, hear horns honking, and as a mother of two small children, your guard is up at all times that if one of them gets out of your reach they will be in the street and hit by a car. Most beaches I've been to have a beach, and then sand dunes, then a boardwalk, then parked cars, THEN traffic! Here the traffic is whizzing by you whether you're eating or sunbathing, it's THERE! I loved the food and the hotel we stayed at and the weather, but because of the way the town is set up I won't be back.

Oh yes, this is what a beachside park in paradise should be all about. The place is clean, there are plenty of picnic tables under shade trees and the beach is groomed to look its best no matter what the ocean throws upon the shore. There's a nice mix of people here and the sidewalk along the park that connects with the long walkway through town is great for a long, uninterrupted walk or run. Very Nice!

Nice open beach that goes on for miles. lots of restaurants across the road from the beach. outdoor weight lifting, washroom facilities, BBQ areas. seems like a nice safe place to be. best part is the multi cultural aspect of the BBQ smells. Lots of tini weenie bikinis on skateboards and walking.
