I visited Saltwater Brewery on a Saturday afternoon with my son. We had been meaning to check it out for some time and he was down for a visit so we decided this was the day. We found two seats at the bar and proceeded to start out with a Flight ($6 each) of 4 beers to try out. We each got 4 different beers so we had a variety to try out. The Bar tenders were terrific and very helpful when I asked them to explain the different beers and how the IBU's worked that were listed by each one. My son favors IPA's and I was a Bud Light guy for years. So I went for the IPA's to see what I was missing out on. After a taste of the Screaming Reels IPA and a wonderful power packed Stinger IPA I was hooked. They have these containers you can buy (cheaply) called "Growlers". This allows the staff to draw tap beer into the container with just the right amount of CO2 and cap it off for the ride home. Then you can have the great beer at home to enjoy also. I loved the atmosphere, plenty of friendly people all enjoying the camaraderie of fellow beer connoisseurs and newbies. Most seemed to be like me, a fan of great beer but not that knowledgeable about it. There is a large deck area, with the train going right by, and space for bands or entertainment. The interior has a large room and bar, and you can see right in to the brewing area. People were constantly bringing in their Growlers for a fill up to take home. I even went back the next Weekend to fill mine up again. They also have lots of shirts and hats for sale if you want an extra item to sport around town. I get lots of comments on the shirt I bought. All in all, I cannot say one bad thing, Great Beer, Great Staff, Fun People all around. This is a must visit!

A nice find along a pretty funky section of roadway. Inviting setting to taste their brews and enjoy sitting in their outdoor picnic area. Nice T-Shrits too!!

I really enjoyed this place & am happy I got steered here from someone who knew the area better than me. The beer selection is nice & I love the atmosphere. I liked being able to sit outside & listen to the music as well. I just wish there were more private tables to sit (not stand) instead of communal ones.

I was at Saltwater Brewery’s opening and was immediately ‘hooked’ by their tasty beer, amazing art, & a friendly atmosphere. Starting with the world cup & continuing to art shows & charity raffles - these energetic young men keep offering exciting events & make good use of social media. The founders are local boys and give ‘locals’ a good name with their welcoming & knowledgeable staff. Saltwater is getting better & better. Their beer is consistently wonderful & the weekly surprise brews are my favorite. Gluten free beer - how fabulous is that?! And now they have FOOD TRUCKS too! I haven’t seen a review mention Peter Agardy’s artwork. It is Saltwater’s inspiration and it infuses another dimension into the brewery’s life. Before you even get to the bar you realize this is not just any brewery. This very cool vintage Delray building is chalk full of fabulous art. The beer and the artwork are made for each other and that is intentional. Peter is a founder & his work is as unique as the beer. It gives the brewery an ambiance like no other and proves art imitates & inspires life - I mean beer!

I love beer and I love Saltwater Brewery. I will admit I'm a lite beer drinker, but when we tried a flight of their beers, I never would have guessed that Raspberry Reef would be my favorite. It was awesome! Let me also mention the building. It's just beautiful. They recycled old Dade County pine from the ceiling area and made the bar and other fixtures. They pulled up the old floor and found an old terrazzo which is a deep black and grey I haven't seen before. It cleaned and shined up perfectly. The outside area looks really nice, but it was too hot the day we were there to enjoy it. We will definitely be back!

I've been to Saltwater a number of times since it opened and they always have great beers. I love their main selection like the south end session ale and spiny tail IPA but also love their limited releases like the rasbarreled wild ale.In addition to the beer, they have a great atmosphere with comfortable couches, corn hole outside and great music. Great place to chill and have a great beer.

I have been to a majority of the beer breweries in South Florida, and I can say hands down this is the best one! They have a great beer selection with lots of unique flavors. The employees are super friendly and nice to talk to. The atmosphere there is also pretty cool, as you can sit at the bar, on couches, or on the patio. You get to see the actual machines of the brewery too!

Saltwater Brewery is an awesome brewery with a lot to offer. The bar itself is beautiful, there is seating inside and out from high tops to couches, picnic tables and of course the bar itself. The atmosphere is very friendly and casual and the bartenders are knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and make suggestions. The patrons are relaxed and chill as well. You can tell everyone involved is passionate about beer and the brewery. In addition to menu standards they feature seasonal beers and even gluten free! Saltwater is a great place to bring visitors, family members and beer experts or novices. The age group of people is a wide variety as well, you can feel comfortable with your friends and your parents. If you've been curious, you need to go try it!

I am drawn to craft breweries like a moth to a flame. Thus did I make it a point to stop in here after dining, with my wife, on Atlantic Avenue. Even as we pulled up to the parking area, it was obvious that the place was busy on this Saturday afternoon. All the parking spots were taken. And cars were parked on the grassy areas, which is where I managed to find a place. The brewery courtyard, just outside the entrance, was set with benches, only two of which were shaded by an awning, and occupied by beer drinkers, some with dogs at their feet. It was far too hot out for us to even think about sitting outdoors. When we walked into the brewery, we were greeted with a clamorous din. The place was packed. Seemingly everyone was talking simultaneously. There was lively background music, but it was drowned out by all the people noise. Tall barstools with wooden backs were clustered around tables fashioned from huge liquor casks, and arrayed along the bar, and lined up across the room at the picture window that overlooked the courtyard with its benches. Two men played table shuffleboard indoors by another picture window. Almost every barstool had a body on it. My wife and I happened to find the only two seats available, at the counter by the window looking out onto the courtyard and the TriRail train tracks just beyond. I moseyed up to the bar, across the room, and got a flight of four of the beers then on tap, for $6. My wife and I sipped them as we watched the drinkers and their dogs in the courtyard. The loud noise enveloping us was annoying, at least to me, and was certainly a disincentive to come here again. But the place was packed, and with a festive air, so I assume this brewery stays busy. Of the fours beers I had selected for the flight, my wife liked two. I wasn't enthralled by any of them. I much prefer the brewery down the highway in Oakland Park.

This imperial nut brown grab your nose and taste buds with its malts accents that overwhelm you with delightful smoky smells and notes of chocolate. Or take the Watch this...Belgian-Barleywine or the Mayday imperial porter, just a few of the growing list of great beers that carry similar thrills. This place is a great welcome to the continuous expanding craft beer community in Florida. Located in a beautiful space, a restored barn from the 50's with it's rustic yet modern atmosphere : a garden beer with reclaimed wood tables and test room indoor from which you can see the glistering stainless-still fermenters tanks where all this delicious liquid is produced. Also a couple of good sized TV's, couch area, shuffleboard and corn hole game in the garden. Just enough to keep you busy without distracting you so much away from that friendly and well deserved brew. There is not food served here but you can have it deliver from nearby restaurants. The convenient Growlers, on sale, not only are beautiful cobalt blue bottles but a convenient way to take home some of the flavor with you..You can't miss this Brewery that is just west of I-95 and the CSX railroad in Delray Beach. In the meantime keep chugging !

Can't believe there aren't more reviews! Saltwater is the new local hangout spot! From the outdoor beer garden to the inside bar (with glass which allows you to see inside the brew house where all their delicious beers are made) this place is everything a brewery should be... Good people, good music, even better beers, shuffleboard/ corn hole, and dog friendly. Try the screaming reels IPA or the mayday imperial chocolate cream porter. They just started doing tours as well. If you are in Delray make saltwater one of your stops... you will not be disappointed ;)

I didn't think we would be able to find another brewery in Florida as good as Funky Buddha but I was wrong. Saltwater was just as awesome. Someone put some time and love into the tasting room, it is beautiful. Everything is a shiny wood and unless I was too drunk to remember correctly, they said they redid the old building that was there and re-purposed the materials. I could be just making that up but I think I am at least somewhat correct. Anyhow the most important part is the beer and it too was fantastic. They had about 12 beers on tap and we got tasters of all of them. The beer was awesome! If you are a beer lover, Saltwater should be on your list. The guy helping us was very knowledgeable about beer and nice to talk to. They also have a nice outdoor patio with games and more pretty wooden tables.

Relativamente nova, o ambiente é gostoso e a cerveja também. Vale a visita quando vier a Delray Beach
