As a FL resident who has visited the FL tracks, this one is hands-down the best dog track we've ever seen. It is so tourist friendly, offering free entry, a friendly staff, a variety of dining options, and in a clean and sylish environment. Kids are welcome at this track, too. Poker, live dog racing, and simulcast dog and horse races from around the USA (and New Zealand) were the wagering options when we visited. There was a busy, happy vibe to this track, which is a far cry from most other FL tracks. If you a planning a FL vacation itinerary, please pick this one. You'll leave happy, and hopefully a little richer!

Nice place to play Texas No Limit Holdem. They have live cash games as well as many tournaments. High hands are given throuhout the daytime hours.

This was my first time at greyhound races and I loved every minute of it! We are here in Florida for 6 weeks "wintering' from Virginia. Even though I didn't win anything (and did not expect to) it was a great way to spend an afternoon. I will certainly go back again before my return to Virginia in mid-February.

The writer is not much of a gambler and is a dog lover, so he went to the DBKC with a little trepidation. But all of that was eliminated after the first race. The DBKC is a rather large building featuring greyhound racing, a large poker room and a restaurant. The party of twelve was seated at tables inside with trackside views. The day was blustery, but inside was very comfortable. Other seating was available for those parties only there for the parimutuel betting also.The building is clean, comfortable with no smoking...a surprise in itself for a gambling venue. The party ordered lunch which was surprisingly good and very inexpensive...recommended. The fare included Cuban sandwiches, pastrami reubens, flatbreads and salads. All was prepared well and served with homemade chips or fries.The parimutuel wagering featured the usual bets. The sleek, beautiful greyhounds were individually checked by on premises veterinarians and led by handlers to the starting area of the small track. A "rabbit" is on a rail on the inside of the track and when it passes the dogs the gate is released and they "chase the bunny" at 40 mph speeds to the finish line when the rabbit is stopped, the dogs greeted by the handlers and given treats. The doggies were wagging their tails and were perfectly healthy and appeared to be well cared for. The big plus of the DBKC is that when entering people can sign to adopt a retired greyhound...definitely a caring attitude and respect for the dogs.There were 8 races with 8 dogs in each race. The writer has no idea how to read a program and bet his $2 every race and by pure luck did not lose anything by the end of the races.The DBKC is a great venue to enjoy the beauty of watching these magnificent dogs run is the style for which they were bred.

This was our first time visiting the track and we were a bit confused as to how things worked. I approached a staff member who handed me a brouchure. Considering I didn't want to spend the evening reading I politely returned his brouchure and approached another staff member who was more than willing to show UA how to place bets. The bets are $2 minimum so you don't go broke. The atmosphere was great although some people get really emotional over losses. But overall it was a great experience. We had two boys with us who liked to choose the dogs but children are not allowed at the betting counter so keep that in mind and play to have two adults

hey its gambling but it was fun...Exciting races every 15 minutes....have a few beers as well...$2 minimum bet so ya don't have to go broke...worth trying if you have never done it

Great place to unwind, food and service is excellent and the availability of various level games and tournaments is good.

A great place for entertainment while visiting Florida is the Daytona Beach Kennel Club in Daytona Florida. They offer poker, horse race wagering and live dog racing. The restaurant serves excellent food at a reasonable price. This is a great place to entertain you friends and family.

This place is as clean a facility I have visited and the people go above and beyond to assist you in anyway they can, and of course it is always nice to win some money.

I liked betting a couple bucks and watching these amazing dogs run. I enjoyed being able to bet the horses on TV anywhere around the country.

If you like to gamble and enjoy a nice sunny day watching a dog race, this is the place. Free to visit, you can gamble or just watch while you have a bite to eat.

15 races, 8 dogs one race only had 7, bet a 4 dog quin. other 3 came in. Still enjoy being there. If your in Daytona, go ck it out

great poker ... great food ,great staff.. overall perfect place to play the HPT. i will be back!!!!!
