daytona beach bandshell

We found this after eating at Bubba Gump Shrimp. It's a pretty nice and very big. There wasn't any bands playing when we came through but was still neat to see.

From the beach to stores to restaurants...you can access this awesome "Hollywood" bowl feel entertainment every night, free. Can rent chairs, have cheap or expensive bites. Fun!

We had a great time listening to an Elton John tribute concert. The weather was great and the location was perfect.

The bandshell is simple but very nice. The attractions surrounding it is very nice. You have many restaurants, a giant ferris wheel, movie theatre, a slingshot as well as other things to do by the bandshell.

we go there numerous times each year and never see this utilized. Could be used for many reasons - should have bands there at least during summer weekends

The area of the Daytona Beach band shell seems to be surrounded by street walkers and drub dealers alike. Too many for the law enforcement to handle. Do not go here at night!

At the Oceanwalk at Daytona Beach. Open seating for live events and beach access. Close to restaurants and boardwalk.

I enjoyed all the activities -- also a nice place when not in operation to grab a few rays. Very pleased it is preserved in a changing scene.

Great place to sit and watch cover bands and take in the sights and sounds that is Daytona Beach. Get there early seating is limited and in the back is not a place you want to be, people walking over you. There is lots of food and drink in the area so just relax. Bathroom wise, that's a different story, there is portable toilets on the sidewalk so.... Go before you go! In the summer on Saturday nights this is a great ending to a beach day!

Every Saturday they have a band or something else going on they bring the food carts out and everybody enjoys themselves.

Really enjoyed the weekend concerts and fireworks off the pier. Grab yourself a spot in one of the closeby restaurants or bring a chair to sit right in front of the bandstand for a fun evening!

There are free concerts on some weekends nice place to hang.the board walk and pier are close by as well as lots of resturants.

When you visit the Bandshell, which is a nice venue right on the beach, look behind you for the Daytona 200 Motorcycle memorial. It is a great tribute to the on-the-sand motorcycle races that used to run before the Speedway was built. The Memorial doesn't have its own tripadvisor page, so I'm mentioning it here. Both worth a look esp. for fans of motorcycle racing.

We were here for Labor Day weekend. As former Daytona Beach residents we were pleased to see some wonderful restorations including the historic bandshell. Nice night of music, perfect warm breeze. Clean. End-of-summer concert by a cover band doing Journey songs, followed by decent fireworks display.
