I've played several courses down here and this was by far the best layout. The greens were better too but still not good. It's winter and the greens are over seeded, but the courses in Clermont have better greens. Better greens but no beach, so it's a push.

Used "Golf 18" prices. Great value this way. Front and back nines quite different, so there is something for everyone. Fairways in good shape, but greens needed help. Still playable, though. Would definitely go back.

Huge fairways wide enough to land an airplane - huge bunkers that you could get lost in - huge greens that you couldn't miss. Wide open with barely a tree in sight - if you lost a ball here then sign up for the top 5 worst golfers in the world. The course was in great shape and a pleasure to play. The only caveat was the pace of play .... we saw the marshall on the first tee and never again. There were 3 of us following a 4 some and we waited on literally every shot after teeing off on the 1st. There was nobody in front of them so there was no excuse. By the 12th hole there were several groups piled up behind us. The round took 4:45 which is really unacceptable. The club had a young lad cleaning our clubs as we finished the 18th which was a really nice touch. We would have stayed for eats but it was then too late.

Staff is GREAT! Service is superb. But since a private equity firm bought it they seem to be more interested in a profit by raising prices and cutting down on quality. Mostly frozen bar food and sandwiches. They have stopped dinners except a couple of times a month. Not bad place for lunch and atmosphere is great, but it is noisy with the golfers yelling about how great their game was! Lots of TV's with ball games on. Soup is good.

Went to lunch with my brother and his wife,and sat out side, on a wonderful day. I had the trio salad plenty to eat and was very good. Brother had the mahi sandwhich and sister-in-law had the grilled chicken salad , both looked good and they said that it was very good. The servers were GREAT sorry but cant remember their names but they did a very good job. This was on saturday the 8th . Anyway sit outside take in the golfers and relax.

I have eaten here a lot .They have a pretty decent chef & his dinners are pretty good. I like his Jack Daniels steak & chicken dishes. The service is friendly but I think they need to be more professional & better training for a country club. Their soda's never taste good from the fountain , they should go to canned soda. I would like to be greeted at the door more often, most of the times I seat myself, it is important to greet all dinner guest. I do like the food here so check it out.

This a first class golf course. The price is higher than most other golf courses in NSB, but worth the price. It was so crowded that it took a foursome almost five hours to play.

This course is worth the trip...Open to the public with country club course. Rolling dunes, lots of bunkers and plenty of water, but it is a fun and challenging course. Beautiful

I set up a game for seven of my friends that all play another golf course on a regular basis. We were all treated to one of the best golfing afternoons that I have experienced in some time. The green fees are very fair for this time of the year (February). The staff all treated us as if they were the owners of this very pretty course. I look forward to my next round next year.

I had my daughters sweet 16 party at the Venetian bay golf club. I highly recommend them to anyone for any occasion the service I received was incredible from the day I booked it up to the day of the event. Everyone was so helpful.Please keep them in mind for your next event

We enjoyed playing golf again, on this well kept course. It offers good challenges for both experienced and newer golfers. Personnel are all helpful and professional. We'll be back!

We played this golf club and found it to be very fair to golfers. What you see is what you get. No surprises! The price was $39pp on Golf Now which was reasonable for December golf. The course was in good shape with wide fairways and decent greens. I would play it agin in the future.

This is a beautiful development. I visited a friend who had just purchased a new DR Horton home there. Apparently, this is the dividing point between frame and cement construction, with the New Smyrna area offering the more substantial construction and north of this area, frame construction.We had lunch at the Club and it was very enjoyable, with the Venetian theme featured. The area has mostly residential developments and is quite rural. There are the expected chain stores and restaurants nearby. Yep, there's a Walmart a couple of miles away.

The course is well taken care of but you have to like playing out of sand with it's over 130 traps. The club house restaurant is nice and the food was good
