I have had season tickets for a few years. When they were in the old theater it was like having a show in your living room. When they moved to the theater, I was afraid they would lose the intimacy. I happy happy to say the theater made it better. The shows have been very good and the set excellent. While there have been shows I did not like, most are very good. Glad to have them in my town.

The author, Thornton Wilder delibertaley wrote the play with instructions to leave the stage bare and allow the actors to express their actions through pantomime. He wrote, "...that the cooperative imagination of the audience is stimulated by that absence." Thank you for your review! We put a lot of effort into making the PBD theatre experience a great one. We hope you'll come back to see The Most Happy Fella, opening July 18 as well as our upcoming 15th Anniversary Season beginning October 10.

The theater is small so every seat is a good seat. The productions are usually very good, although this season they had a few week plays and performances. Overall it is worth going and you have many choices of restaurants nearby which makes for a very pleasant evening.
