This is what Florida is all about. You can sit at the bar or table 10 feet from the band and watch the sunset across the street. Friendly service and when a scotch only costs $3.50 you should stay awhile.

This place is awsome! The staff is great! Management and owners are great! Always have great bands playing! Nice little menu to order from! Definitely will be back!

what a lineup of live music!Great spot to hang out and unwind. The new menu has expanded and the BLT is damn good.

In response to this review Connie never contacted Ka'Tiki to reserve our venue. Her group was invited by a solo local musician who was reserved to play that afternoon. Although the cause was a good one, Ka'Tiki is a place for live music NOT POLITICAL RANTS. This is the reason for the actions taken that afternoon. Connie was paid for her time and a donation was also given to the cause from Ka'Tiki.

The bartenders are typical Florida slow. The guys at night tend to be too cocky - try out the dozens of other bars in Treasure Island,St Pete Beach,Madiera Beach and so on. It is hit or miss on getting a friendly bartender, but they do lighten up a bit in the summer when the snow birds are gone. Weekdays during the summer and fall (day time hours) has friendlier service.

I've been stopping in here several times a year for the last 12 years. It has changed and gotten more touristy, but it still keeps some of the local flavor I always enjoy. Beautiful spot to watch the sunset, drink prices are reasonable, has the outdoor feel of the beach. They bring in some good music.

Cool blues music and a good local bar. It is an outside bar and the people there were all having a good time.Good pour on drinks . Staff was really nice. The town is awesome.I have never seen a town so clean and nice.The one review about the parking nazi was a crock. there is a place to park across the street that has metered parking. A nice local guy gave us his spot that had time still on the meter. NOT sure where this person is calling nazis ...they were just telling the guy where to drop people off.

An awesome bar! Good music, good service, sunsets, the beach, very friendly locals. What more can you ask for? I hit this place EVERY time I am in St. Pete Beach. Wouldn't miss it. Wish I was there now! Damn work.

THIS IS TOTAL B.S.!!!!!!!!there are no nazi's;!!!!! THE OWNERS ARE VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY AND DO NOT ALLOW SUCH RUDENESS TO BE TOLERATED EITHER IN THE PARKING LOT (even though it is limited parking and at times overwhelming) OR IN THE BAR!!!!!!!! Having known Danny the parking mngr.for several years Ihave never known him to be rude to a single person!!!His super deep voice does seem commanding , but that is not his total demeanor as he would do anything to help any customer!!! I have been there for small events as well as S.R.O. huge band events for the past 2 years and have always enjoyed the entire bar staff as well as the fun-loving customers from all walks of life!!! My husband and I have spent the last 3 years on Treasure Island. One of our favorite places to go to is KaTiki on Sunset! The service is above expectations with the bartenders being some of the friendliest people we run across. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. We especially like the music. Anytime we go we feel like we are being welcomed home. The new owners have made many new improvements without losing the integrity of the original concept. We will continue to patronize KaTiki on Sunset.

Heard great things about this place, so we decided to go there Sunday. We got the Free Ride Taxi and our driver knew exactly where it was. They were busy and the driver pulled into the KaTiki parking area. A guy in a straw type hat came over to the van and told Tara that next time do not pull into his parking spots ! He said to drop the people off across the street by Caddy's and let them walk across Gulf Blvd. I was shocked but this guy was gruff and serious. I do not understand why you would put customers at risk to cross a busy street!

Still a great little bar on Sunset Beach, However beware the parking Nazi, he is nasty, has a foul mouth, and he charges people to park when he thinks no one is looking. I still love the place, and the music is great. The new owners have made a lot of improvements, it's a shame they employee someone like him.

I loved it!!! great drinks, atmosphere, music and the locals treat you like family!!! within walking distance from the condo and the beach right across the street and great prices!

Typical dive bar across from the beach. Nothing special, iffy service, weak drinks. Don't waste your time.
