fresh tracks farm vineyard and winery

Stopped at Fresh Tracks before dinner at the Knotty Shamrock in Northfield Vermont in celebration of my wife's bithday. We did the 8 for 8.00 wine tasting and 2.00 dollars extra for the Maple wine tasting, which was soooo of with the extra fee. Wow...it was so informative and just an incredible experience and we even got two souvenir wine glasses included in the tasting price. My wife loved the olive and herb spreadable chevre wih crackers that we had purchase with the tasting. It was just the wife and I in fresh tracks and Erin was amazing and ready for company. She was very knowledgeable and seems to be very compassionate about her job . She greeted us like old friends and left us with an amazing impression that will last a lifetime. We will definitely be back and hope to try new wines as they come out for many years to come. Can not wait to go back and enjoy a glass of wine by the inviting fireplace and be in the company of Erin again!!! Would like for the owner to know that you have a true Jewel and huge asset in your employee Erin, and we hope to see her there for many years to come and thanks for the amazing experience and wonderful service!!!

We have visited a few wineries and were not impressed with this one. The lady who was giving the 8/8 was tired and didn't seem like she was up to "company". We've visitied other wineries where they make it fun and informative.

While on a vacation to visit my family in VT we found our family driving through Montpelier on our way back from the Ben & Jerry's Factory Tour. My husband had just had a birthday and saw the winery on the map and wanted to stop. We loved it...the kids played outside and we were able to have a nice mini-date. We did the 8 wines for $8 tasting plus the extra $2 for the maple wine. Nice flight of wines and the maple wine was unique. We ended up buying a bottle of the Freerider Red and the Vermont Apple Wine, but also liked the Digger's Dance. The building is beautiful and we were lucky enough to visit on an evening when they had just harvested grapes and got to go outside and watch the grapes come off the truck and come in for pressing.

Did the wine testing for eight dollars. Two more dollars to taste the maple wine. Great service. Very informative.

Lovely place,we went there to buy some wine ended up doing the wine tasting which was $8 for 8 wines 5 whites and 3 reds,and you get a wine at the end.Erin was the lovely lady who did our tasting,very nice.We bought two bottles of the one with Frontenac Gris(the one deer on the bottle) great flavors and La Crescent was also a good one.The view outside is fantastic so is the view everywhere. We went up to see the grapes if you follow the stairs outside by the little patio/house bridge.

Very easy to get to and you may think it is very typical, however they grow different grapes on site and the tasting includes the glass which is always nice. The staff we met were very knowledgeable and it was a really nice day and were able to taste test outside.

Fresh Tracks has fantastic wine! They have great events with live music. Different functions and they offer the place for parties, etc... Perfect place to unwind...

My client had a private party here and wow, what a great event. They took GREAT care of us, with really tasty local wines, fantastic food and very, very friendly service. Their male syrup was priced reasonably as well. I ended up having a great time in a very nice location and buying both a bottle of wine a 2 bottles of maple syrup. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

The past couple of years during our visits to Northfield Falls, we stop by Fresh Tracks to relax and enjoy the wine, the attractive accommodation, and the friendly staff. Since we are accustomed to Virginia Wineries, many that have been around for years, the "freshness" of Fresh Tracks is apparent as soon as you walk in the door. While that begins with the relatively newness of the establishment, it's echoed in the warmth of the staff, the inviting atmosphere, and the enjoyable live entertainment we've encountered there. The wine choices are pleasing, and satisfying enough that we always leave with a few bottles in hand.

Nice place,beautiful building.friendly staff.We have been there several times for live music.and Sushi.

Enjoyed a stop at this winery outside of Montpelier Vt. Certainly not on the scale of the Napa Valley where we have toured in the past,but we enjoyed their Wed. night 4 dollar pour with friends. The building is very attractive.

Visited 8/11 and was not impressed at first. The wine selection was different from what I was accustomed to seeing. But the knowledgable young woman pouring the wine explained that the cold northern climate called for a different approach...cold tolerant grapes. The wines were well made and balanced. The apple and the La Crescent were my purchases.Nice drive along the dog river to the winery and the tasting room was very comfy.

First I'd like to say, thanks for stopping by! We love to meet new people, regardless of their wine preference. As we like to say, there is a drink out there for everyone! And we do our best to make a wide enough variety to try to please as many people as possible.
