stone house antique center

I've recently become a huge fan of searching for vintage toy marbles to add to my small collection. My husband collects vintage straight-edge razors. This past weekend was a beautiful day in Vermont and we decided to go out in search of our treasures. We went to a variety of places in the area; but none carried what we were looking for. One of the places we stopped at suggested we try the Stone House Antique Center in Chester, Vermont. When we walked into the store, I was in awe at the rows and rows of beautiful antiques. They had gorgeous antique furniture, glassware, military items, dolls...and, yes, marbles AND straight edge razors! They carried such an enormous array of items that I would say you are almost guaranteed to find any treasure you may be seeking. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The marbles I spotted were in a locked cabinet, but the clerk waited patiently by while I debated which beauties to select! While they do carry some higher priced antiques, they also had a plentiful supply of items at very reasonable prices. The only disappointment for us was that we did not arrive at this gem of a shop until late in the day and ran out of time to thoroughly browse....thus, we have already made plans to continue our treasure seeking at this same shop in the very near future!!

I have been to the Stone House Antique Center a few times now and have enjoyed each visit. The staff is very friendly and they have great merchandise. I have never left empty handed. If you are ever in the area it is definitely worth a stop!

This has to be the best Antique center in the area. I love the size of the center plus there are some great deals. I was finally able to find the perfect dresser for our guest room. Will go back often to see what is new and exciting!
