On Saturday February 28th on a picture perfect day we had the pleasure of enjoying a unforgettable tour through the Vermont countryside. Bob made the tour even more enjoyable because he was genuinely happy to show off his beautiful countryside. Bob was funny, courteous, conscientious, and instructive, which made the ride safe and exciting. This was my first time snowmobiling and I will do it again with joy thanks to this experience. Bob is a tremendous asset to this touring group and I wish he taught a class to all the tour guides in every type of activity organization that there is. That is how good he was.

We toured with Bob yesterday, Feb 28. What an experience! Totally dedicated to ensuring everyone was comfortable and ok along the tour. Before our tour began, we were given a brief video and chat with Mark about tips and basic information that should be known. Cant wait to go back again!

We went to Snowmobile Mt. Snow today. There were 5 of us total, but 4 snowmobiles and Bob as our guide. What a great guy and great experience! So much fun especially gunning it on the lake! Highly recommended!

Our experience was a great one! We toured with Bob, who is a great guide, very informative & helpful! We went as a family of four on two snowmobiles. Towards the end of the ride I needed Bob, the guide, to take my son on his snowmobile. He was more than happy to do so, so I could ride/drive more comfortably. The people helping out inside were very nice too. They took care of us to make sure we stayed safe & warm. It was a lot of fun & we would definitely do it again! Thanks for an awesome time!

We toured with Bob on our weekend visit to Mt. Snow, on a day we decided to take a break from skiing. Bob was not only one of the nicest people I have ever come in contact with, but he was passionate and extremely knowledgable about snowmobiling! No kidding, he really was that nice! He crafted the tour to our comfort level, took small breaks to show us different sights and even stopped at a camp bathroom! The icing on the cake was the picture perfect snow on all the forest trees and glassy iced branches shining in the sun. It was magical! From big wide flat trails to small bumpy ones, to the crossing the huge frozen reservoir at 50 mph or more! Totally Awesome---thanks and hope to visit again soon.

My husband and I along with our two adult children had the best time on this tour! We've been snowmobiling before so anytime we go on a guided tour such as this one we get concerned about how we may be impacted by the varying degrees of experience with others who could end up in our group. We were fortunate to have our own guide, Bob, who was absolutely wonderful! Bob quickly realized we could handle a little more "adventure" while still being completely safe and we were not disappointed! The trails, experience and staff were great! I highly recommend this tour for the experienced and novice snowmobiler alike.

I took my son on the 10 am tour with Devin. Mark at the office was great at explaining the tour and preparing the paperwork. We really enjoyed the ride and scenery. It's a must do!

We just went here on Saturday for the 4 PM tour and had the most AMAZING time!!! We were a little hesitant to book as beginners until we read the other reviews stating that "have no fear", they cater to beginners. Tiffany who helped us check-in, convinced me to get my own snowmobile, and boy she did not steer me wrong! They made sure we were comfortable with the snowmobiles and ensured we knew how to operate them properly and more importantly, have fun and relax! The tour time was perfect, it gave us some daylight to get used to the tours and when we finally hit the lake, it was that perfect "blue" hour when the sun was setting. Keith was our tour guide and he was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, checked to make sure everyone was doing okay and we had a fantastic ride! Between the guides, the sites, scenery, people - you cannot go wrong! We couldn't stop talking about how much fun we had for the rest of the weekend. It was a top notch tour with top notch people, can't wait to go back again!!! Thank you Mark, Keith, Tiffany, Kevin, Joe and everyone else for our amazing Back Country Tour! :D

My girlfriend and I went here and had a great time. We went for an 11am tour and lucked out with great weather...sunny no clouds and no wind. This added to a great experience. Making the reservations was very easy and their responses to questions were quick and detailed. Tiffany is who we communicated with and she was great. She is also who we dealt with when we arrived at the facility...again very helpful, friendly, and efficient. Jeff helped us with the forms etc and he has a great sense of humor. Devin was our guide and he was terrific. We were shown a short video on the do's and dont's of using a snowmobile. Devin then explained everything very thoroughly and made it clear that everyone is there to have a good time and ride at their own pace. He was aware that peoples skill level would vary so he stressed that nobody should feel any pressure to ride out of their comfort level. Safety is the highest priority which is nice to see. He stopped along the ride several times to ensure that everyone was doing okay and was comfortable. We went along a variety of trails from passing through woods, going along a dam/lake, to more open areas. We took a stop about the halfway point to stretch the legs and take some photos. Devin is more than happy to take pictures of you as well. The scenery was beautiful so it was a great great time. The equipment was in very good shape and is comfortable to ride on. Dress for cold weather but know that the hand grips and throttle are heated so your hands will stay warm with a pair of gloves only. The helmet is a full face helmet so your head, face, and chin are covered. The face shield can be raised or lowered to allow some air in if you want. It takes about 3 hours so it's doesn't consume your day but is a great time and a great way to see the area. If you want to try snowmobiling or go snowmobiling, (if you've done it before), go here and have a great time.

My boyfriend and I went out on a snowmobile tour at Mt Snow this past weekend and it was just incredible! The weather was great, the scenery along the tour was beautiful, and we had a great time. Our experience with High Country was excellent from start to finish. Tiffany and Mark were both extremely helpful in getting our reservation set up and confirmed. The day of the tour - things were well organized from check-in, paperwork, orientation, to getting us on the snowmobiles and out on the trails.Devon our tour guide/leader was knowledgeable, friendly and made each of us feel comfortable as everyone in the group was at a different level. He wanted to make sure everyone had a good time and was comfortable with the speed and terrain. This is only the second time i have been on a snowmobile tour, but i would highly recommend this company to others who are looking for a cold weather adventure in a beautiful location.

The MOST beautiful scenery in the North East... Fun, nice machines...great folks... only downside is that it is WAY OVERPRICED and WAY TOO SHORT a trip!

We went out with Jeff and he was extremely helpful and sensitive to each persons skill level and capacity for risk taking. One of us had experience riding quads and the other had no previous experience and we both had a lot of fun!! Mark is very helpful in helping to make reservations and making you feel competent and ready to drive the snowmobile. Tips for those who are new to this... The handle bars are heated, and for a minimal fee bib overall snowsuit, matching coat and boots can be rented. You do not need a hat under the helmet with built in face mask but bring something to cover your chin and neck. Relax and enjoy the experience, you're in good hands.

Excellent guides and brand new equipment. Groomed trails and and amazing time crossing the somerset reservoir. Highly recommend this experience.

My husband and I have been going for 4 years now and I cannot say enough great things about our experiences at Snowmobile VT. I have tried snowmobiling elsewhere but this is my favorite and I go as much as I can in the winter (hard bc it is a 4 hour drive). When I go, I feel like I am visiting friends (the owner Mark, Tiffany, and the guides who conduct the tours at Snowmobile VT are all so great). I am always so excited to snowmobile and I have been able to share in my experiences at Snowmobile VT with friends, all of who have loved it and cannot wait to go back. I recommend the 2 hour tour. My absolute favorite is the 4pm to 6pm tour where you get to experience an hour of daylight and an hour of night (amazing!). I have noticed that during very good winters, this place gets booked very quickly so you if you are planning a trip there, you do need to call asap and see what is available. I have a tendency to get cold easily but love that there are hand warmers on the machines and the engine keeps my feet warm with good boots. We even went recently when it was about close to zero degrees out and I had no problems (preparation of course with layering). All I have to say is if you have never snowmobiled, try it! If you have done it before, do it again! When near Mount Snow or thinking about going, give Snowmobile VT a call.
