Really, there is not much else to say...it is a 600' hill, they have 1 triple chair, a rope tow, and a t-bar. The hill is all beginner, maybe a little intermediate, and is extensively groomed. The hill is only open on weekends except for school winter break in Feb when it is open weekdays with some special activities (torchlight ski, etc.). The ski school is great, they get to know the kids, and they are all very seasoned instructors. The lodge has a restaurant, small ski shop w/rentals, and the ski school. Every one is super friendly. Prices are reasonable compared to just about all other ski areas, but again, it is only a 600' hill.Best of all, we have never had to wait in more than a 5 minute lift line. If you have kids who want to learn, this is a great option.
Small, uncrowded, and fun ski area. While this is not anywhere close to the size of the Killingtons or Mt. Snows, it still is a great place for the family especially if you have kids or a spouse that is a beginner. They have great ski lessons for kids and it's not as intimidating as the big ski areas. It's also no where as expensive either.
Quechee may not be the most challenging hill in Vermont but is is the most welcoming. The ski school is a great place for kids to learn. There are no lines. The food at the Base Lodge is great and on certain holiday weeks they have a horse and carriage to take you to the lift.
