This organization offers several options for white river rafting trips, calm river rafting trips and kayak and canoe rentals. We had several families that had their own kayaks and we knew where we wanted to go (North Hartland Lake) and we were able to rent an additional kayak (and accompanying gear) for $20/day. They dropped the kayak off at the State Park and locked it to a signpost for when we got there. Then, after using the rental, we locked it back up and returned the key for them to pick it up. Nice folks and they gave us a nice map of the water trail to use.
Thank you Wilderness Trails for providing our group a memorable and educational fishing trip. Your guides not only made the trip fun, but showed us the art of fly fishing and the all of the beauty Vermont has to offer. First time fly fishermen and women walked away wanting to do this again - this is a testiment to the instruction and guides. All of the guides are exceptional, especially Bob! Top notch!
Wilderness Trails offers all the above and more..........My B&B is located only a few miles from this popular Quechee attraction and I send my guests all the time. If you're looking for a bit of outdoor adventure, this is the place to go. I highly recommend Wilderness Trails, conveniently located near the Quechee Gorge, the Connecticut River, Dewey's Pond, the Hartland Dam, Quechee Village and Woodstock Village. Try them and experience some great outdoor fun!
A fishing guide is always a roll of the dice. Do they know the spots? Are they fun? Are they friendly? Etc.Well, Pete gets 5 stars across the board. Super nice guy, knows the spots and was fun to hang out with. Pete would run up and down the river to checkout spots. After coming up zero for 1.5 hours we jumped in his car and went to a secret spot of his. Within 15 minutes I was hooked up and landed another 5 over the next hour. It was a blast. You're in good hands with Pete and Wilderness Trails and Vermont Fishing School.
