Always a great time. I'm going to lump all 3 days in one review. Sunday a short bald bartender named Dave (I believe) was extremely rude. We arrived at 7:20 and I asked if he was still serving drinks since it looked like he was closing down, he said something and walked to the back. I didn't hear him because of the music and that he was walking away at the same time as speaking so I waited for his return to ask, as he approached me he says " go ahead ask me again" (very rude) I tried to explain I just didn't hear him and a very nice girl who also bartends there who heard came up and said they were closing but we can get you a beer. She saved the day not because of the beer because of the kindness! Luckily she was our bartender the next day and awesome! Jake is usually working when we are there and he is super awesome we come there every other month or so and with all the people he sees not only does he remember us but he also remembers our drinks! 1 bad server is not to bad, you guys still rock you should just keep Dave and his attitude away from customers!
The waterpark was clean and the staff was plentiful. It was air was very warm, it felt like an 85 degree summer day, while there was a blizzard brewing outside.
Great waterpark for the whole family! We loved the lazy river, playing basketball in the pool and of course the water slides!
Overall my friend and I had a lot of fun - the slides are great as is floating along the river. We were there during the Quebec Spring Break and in consequence it was very busy with line ups everywhere. The lockers are tiny and there is little space to get changed. I would go again but at a quieter time.
The slides and lazy river are fun and well attended to, the wave runner the lifeguards are very helpful in teaching the kids how to do it. Loud but clean and fun.
I really can't describe this place .. you gotta see it to believe .... most amazing surf wave experiance .. the tube rides are not Junior Varsity .. the place is legit.. and if your not a swim park person .. the over hanging bar will allow you to watch the whole place while enjoying local drafts and other goodies.
A great way to break up the outdoor activities. Fun environment for whole family. Slides were a blast especially sliding outside the building then back into a nice warm pool
Beyond getting in the door not much for disabled to do, We did have fun but my disabled son had to watch the rest of the family have fun while he dreamed of fun. Gould not do the kiddie area as we could not assist him and the crazies in the lazy river almost drowned him as he floated with our help. Staff just watched.
For being in a cold-as-hell mountain, the waterpark is very well equipped, personel is all over taking care, attractions are very cool and very for ages.Very nice to visit, if you're staying at the hotel, the waterpark is so close to the rooms that you dont have to walk outside in the cold.
First off, people come from all the other mountains to spend the day with their families. Two families (12 total people) went on a especially cold day outside and we had a ball! The kids did not even miss skiing they had so much fun. The price is fantastic for a full day of fun. We picked Jay Peak because of the pump house because I wanted to give my wife and baby a day off from the slopes and I was so surprised how much fun we all had. IN fact I am sure kids up to at least 17 will have a ball!
Took my daughter and boyfriend to the pump house and they need to re-evaluate the amount of people allowed. There were no chairs to sit in the changing rooms were very small and clothes were all over the place. The hot tub had way too many little children in it despite the signs outside saying young children should not go in . A fun adventure turned into an awful experience. Jay Peak worries more about the $$ and less about customer satisfaction. Would like to try again in the future but right now it left a sour taste in my mouth,
We were looking forward to checking out the water park almost as much as we were excited to ski Jay Peak. We had previously gone to the great escape in Glens Falls, and therefore expected a lot more out of the Jay peak water park.it was fun. but surprisingly, NOT as good as the great escape. how can that be possible we thought? The water slides were average. nothing too exciting or thrilling. seriously they were just basic. be weary of the one where you don't use a tube. your back gets a bit scratched up.The Lazy River was so boring. All other lazy rivers I've been on have fun little things along the way, waterfalls, drops, rapids, etc to make it more fun, but this was so BLAND. nothing going on. PLUS the staff said they were doing "guided" lazy river tours, which meant the guide WALKED in the river in front of us, staring at us the whole time. um ok whatever, so awkward. and so stupid. we are both over 30 years old so i have no idea what that was about there. the hot tub was kind of a disaster, kids running in and out. and there was just the one. the great escape had several of them, and one was adults only. the outdoor hot tub was closed. boo. the "free towels" are the size of tissues. lol seriously they did not fit around my boyfriends waste and he's a normal sized person. it was hysterical, we thought it was a joke at first. the ONLY two redeeming qualities this place had was the direct access to the bar. thats important, and the bartender up there was this awesome dude who was keen on giving us insider ski tips. and la chute obviously, added a whole new element of fun. however without these two things, this place is a overrated water amusement park.
The pump house is fun and exciting, but remind you it is inside and only contains 4 slides, hot tubs, kids place, pool, and surfing pool. I find that it gets boring as there is only so much you can do. But it is more less ideal for kids and teens.
Great for families and adults alike. Plenty to do to fill up your day, hot tub outside, bar, munchies, pool, and of course water slides! Try Le Chute if you want a thrill.
Best indoor water park ever. We live in Orlando so that's saying a lot! Rock climbing wall, surf tank, water slides, lazy river, hot tubs, kiddie area, arcade, bar, large screen tv and eatery.
