The Florida Keys with Great Bike Tours was fantastic! It was well planned with a variety of activities and a good selection of locations. This tour company is relatively new, but the staff are seasoned tour leaders. Every detail was taken care of, leaving us to enjoy a stress-free vacation. It was a perfect combination of planned activity and time to explore on your own. We highly recommend Great Bike Tours!

The Florida Keys trip with Great Bike Tours was truly amazing! An excellent combination of activities from biking the Everglades and the Overseas Heritage Trail throughout the Keys, to visiting the dolphins at the Dolphin Research Center to a sunset sailboat cruise - this trip had it all! The leaders, Chris and Simon, didn't miss a beat and thought of every small, but important detail to ensure all enjoyed their trip to the fullest. Not to mention that they were a wealth of knowledge when it came to the history and attractions of the Florida Keys. With light cycling allowing you to enjoy all the other pleasures that the Florida Keys have to offer I highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a winter getaway. Everything from the lodging to the meals to the beaches were just fantastic!

New Zealand is an incredibly beautiful country. The South Island has so many wonderful places to see, often with few ways to get there. This nearly two-week tour hit every of the South Island must-sees. There was a good mix of activities, including biking, boating, and hiking. Having van support is a must when some of the hills are more than impressive (at least to some of us). Jessica, Simon and Elliot managed all challenges and made sure that everyone had a great time. Looking forward to another trip with them.

What an incredible vacation! I have memories that will last a lifetime! Simon, Jess and Elliott are the best, so experienced, personable and kind. They truly shared their love and knowledge of New Zealand. I learned so much from them. There were no worries for any of us on the tour. All details were covered, lodging was great and food was fantastic. The itineraries were varied and so much fun. They were flexible and anticipatory of our needs as a group and individually. I was impressed with every aspect of the trip!

My husband and I just finished the GBTours trip to New Zealand. It was fabulous...great, flexible, accommodating, and knowledgeable guides, excellent equipment and support, and a tour that highlighted both amazing little known spots and most of the must do areas. We just returned from a 12 day bike ride and New Zealand experience managed by Simon, Jessica and Elliot. All three were caring, supportive and interested in us having the best time possible on our trip. They thoughtfully set an environment with lots of options and alternatives to maximize your experience which made this much more than a bike tour. Some of the options included an airplane ride to Milford Sound, bungee jumping, sky diving, hiking trips, museums, a working sheep farm were all stuffed into a mythical experience in a wonderful country!As others have noted, this team and company is attentive and caring, eager to help you with anything when you need assistance. Everything Great Bike Tours had a hand in arranging was first class. I'm glad we went, it was awesome, and I heartily recommend it to others.

We had a great adventure with Simon and Chris on the Florida keys ride. They were very attentive and worked with each rider to make sure they had everything they needed for a great trip. The tours of the Everglades, dolphin center and sea turtle hospital were a nice change from the biking. Accommodations were very nice. The trip was very relaxing and a great vacation. We would tour with the. Again.

Our family took a fantastic bike tour in the Green Mountain area of Vermont with Great Bike Tours. We stayed at the beautiful Amee Farm Lodge and biked from there into the surrounding countryside. Great Bike Tours will create a custom tour for you and they are full of suggestions for places to go and things to do in the area - hiking, swimming, tubing down the Tweed River and visiting quaint little Vermont towns! After all the adventures, relaxing on the deck at Amee Farm was perfect. Overall, it's a great option for a vacation that is both active and relaxing!

Simon and Jess created a perfect tour for our family that ended up in a sweet, little Vermont village. You can tell that they have been doing this a long time; they have a the equipment, experience and system in place that is geared to handle any challenges and flexible to take advantage of all the surrounding beauty. We made an unplanned stop to go swimming in a idyllic spot in the river that made the ride all the more fun. When the kids tiered out, the bikes were quickly packed up in the van and we drove back. How sweet is that? Highly recommended.

My friend and I spent the weekend with Great Bike Tours, at Amee Farm Lodge. We did a "self-guided" tour on Saturday and Sunday. After breakfast, we were dropped off at a starting point by Simon, one of the tour operators and biked our way back to the Lodge.We had a great time. The Lodge is comfortable and very well maintained. Simon clearly knew the area very well and did an excellent job providing routes on both days which matched our ability. The routes were scenic and bike-friendly. The map and directions provided were impeccable. My friend rented a roadbike from them. The bike was basically brand new and well tuned.We had breakfast and a post ride snack at the lodge (the fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies and lemon ricotta squares were a nice touch!) but were on our own for the dinners (both at great places suggested by Simon).My friend and I have taken bike tours in the past but this was our first experience with Great Bike Tours. We were very impressed by their friendliness and professionalism.

A fantastic trip. Staying in the same B&B the whole time was great. Learned an awful lot about history. Food was great!! In fact at one dinner we met a couple who own a cottage on the same lake we own one. Awesome!!Lyn and Duncan Turnbull

Greg and I have enjoyed our biking experiences with Simon and Chris so much that we have notched seven trips with this dynamic duo and planning our eight trip to Florida, January 2015. On our last trip to Vermont ,we stayed in their bed and breakfast and met the "rest of the Great Bikes family" . Accommodations were wonderful. An excellent trip in a fascinating historic area. Staying at a lovely B&B all week was great and the meal arrangements and entertainment events were awesome! Simon and Chris are great guides and have excellent, scenic routes with support there if needed. This trip was chosen as an annual reunion amongst friends who take a cycling vacation together each year. Looking forward to cycling with Simon and Chris again and highly recommend to those experienced or new with bike tours.
