Eric and Spencer were very flexible on our rental schedule as we booked a big bike that has more availability. My wife was not so fond of riding in the rain and our scheduled days looked like we would be saturated. Eric took my call at home and night and let us know he was happy to change our days.I have rented bikes a number of times and have never had an experience like this. Spencer took as much time as we needed to become familiar with the bike. I was most impressed when he asked my wife if she was comfortable riding as a passenger. ( I didn't feel like he was questioning my riding ability) He then told us that if either one of us or both of us have any concern or are for some reason afraid of riding that we should pull over and call them as they would come to get us. Their bikes are well maintained with major work being done by the professional dealership. I happened to run into Spencer in a small town as he was riding on his day off. He took the time to walk over to me to make sure everything was going well. Two thumbs up for these guys!
We found the MotoVermont ad in one of the motorcycle magazines so we contacted Eric to reserve a ride. We just got back and could not have been more pleased. Eris and Spencer had everything ready on time, gave us a great GPS route for the 3 days and the bike performed flawlessly. The other great thing was the price they quoted was the price you paid including the insurance. None of that fear game to try and get you to buy extra insurance that you get at some of the other rental tours. Thanks guys!
Eric was extremely helpful with our last minute rentals of a couple of dual-sport bikes. The bikes were in excellent condition and motoVermont gave us a detailed guide, and a quick tour, of the local trails and dirt roads. I can't recommended these guys highly enough.
A friend and I rented bikes from MotoVermont this past weekend. We did a self-guided dual sport ride through Northern VT and Canada. Eric and Spenser were awesome. They were extremely helpful with trip planning and recommendations and their motorcycles are in excellent shape. I highly recommend riding with these guys and I plan on coming back for more!
What a great experience! Where should I start? My wife and I first contacted Spencer by phone to check the availability of the rental fleet (Eric was out touring - on 2 wheels of course). Spencer was extremely friendly, told us what he had available, and suggested we come by the shop to discuss rental options and routes. When we arrived, we talked about bike options and the experience we were looking for. Spencer got us set-up with the BMW F650 GS, outlined the many different routes available, checked the weather, and fitted us out with all the gear that we needed (jackets, gloves, and helmets are free of charge). Spencer even insisted on double checking the bike and helmets were clean before sending us out. The shop was clean, professional, well-organized, and the rental agreement was straight forward. I can't say enough on how easy the process was and the professionalism that we were shown. Spencer treated us like friends from the moment we arrived, and continued the conversation after we returned to hear about our experience. The ride was great, and MotoVermont provided us with a fantastic final day in the Green Mountain State.
This was my 3rd time renting from motovermont, easy and convenient each time. I will be back! Reservation process is easy and communication is good.
I went to see the guys at MotoVermont because I needed a dual sport bike for a couple days of riding. Eric and Spencer immediately found me the bike I was looking for (F650 GS) and got me set up perfectly for the ride I was going on. I thought it would be a long process with lots of crazy details to work out to get the bike, but from the moment I decided to rent the bike it was mere minutes until they told me I was all set to go. Definitely the guys to see for a bike in Vermont.
This past week my wife and I had the pleasure of renting a BMW k1600gtl from motovermont. Spencer and Eric were excellent in helping us with the rental as well as general vacation planning. Cost was on par with Harley's ive rented in the past but the BMW was much more comfortable and capable. I would highly recommend motovermont to anyone considering a motorcycle rental in the north east
A buddy and I recently had a great one-day, self guided (w/GPS) tour prepared by Eric and Spencer. They got us on the right bikes and prepared a custom route that was tailored for our abilities and our taste for adventure. The bikes were ready (even with fresh tires) on-time, as promised, and performed brilliantly for our adventure. Unless you are familiar with the area, I would highly recommend either a guided tour or the GPS self guided tour as you may miss out on some of the adventure. I will definitely be returning later this year to partake in their Northeast Kingdom 3-day tour. I would highly recommend MotoVermont for your dual sport and/or road riding motorcycle adventure.
My buddy and I rented the KLR 650's for a day of backroad riding. The weather was a bit off, we had muddy conditions, but we had a ball. Eric and Spenser worked with us as we planned our trip, organizing a custom ride for just what we wanted. We are both experienced riders so Spenser loaded a route in the GPS (highly recommended) for our self guided 160 mile tour that included some technical trails that were challenging, had a sweet lunch stop, and lots of fun. The back country of Vermont is really special. Watch out for those covered bridges, slippery when wet!The bikes were sitting out front waiting and maintained to a high level, I do my own bike work, I could see it. The bikes performed flawlessly, even through one water crossing had water coming up over the small windscreen on my KLR.I would highly recommend Moto Vermont.
