the worthy burger

A real rustic hangout with great burgers and fries and again a wonderful choice of beers . This seemed to be the norm in Vermont and is quite welcome from the cookie cutters with Blue moon and the usual suspects. No reservations and cash only (ATM inside) and nice sitting area outside. Also no table waitress service so know what you want before ordering kind of reminded me a little of Pat's cheesesteaks in Philly.

Diners come here for first-rate hamburgers and excellent brew on tap, and the Worthy Burger does not disappoint. Approach the desserts with caution, though. We had an awful one -- a rhubarb crumble.

Great burgers and beers. Everything is locally grown. The pickle platter is my absolute favorite!!!!! Also, if your looking to taste some Vermont brews, they have a ton on tap!

And lines to get in, lines to sit and ... did I mention beef tallow fries?The Worthy Burger is a grass-fed wedge of beef paradise, with your choice of cheeses, eggs, bacon ... and even a tur-duck patty. You want parmesan-truffle fries? Check. Sean Lawson's sunshine? Check. The most delicious pickle plate: home pickled green beans and cauliflower.A mahi-burger if you want fish and veggie burger for those foolish enough not to try the grass-fed paradise patty. But all cooked over a hardwood fire -- real logs, mind you.Friendly wait-staff ... and lines. So come early or come late, or just wait. It is worth it. Trip Advisor should re-characterize this as a restaurant ... but it is also an attraction. It attracts me like an insect looking for a blood meal. Buzzzzz
