I had my wedding at the RBF in September 2014. This was an amazing venue for my wedding and for my guests to stay. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the property, the staff, and the food. Please do not miss this place if you are visiting the Mad River Valley!

Local Vermonters told us to be sure to travel up the highway past the charming wooden covered bridge and on to see the Round Barn Farm. We took photos at the bride, a one-way vintage bride built in early 1800's, and traveled on up to see the barn and grounds. These were well groomed and beautiful. We also enjoyed the road around back to Warrentown, seeing typical Vermont farms and farm houses.

Fall in the Mad River Valley is gorgeous and this place is in the most beautiful setting. I have been coming to the area every fall (20 years). On each trip I visit the Round Barn but it is the first time staying here. Love the Inn, the game room in the basement, the art, the rooms. The breakfast was a disappointment...Blueberry pancakes were mediocre...I would still recommend this Inn to everyone!Lisa and Mark

This past week I was very fortunate to have a tour of the amazing Round Barn Farm in Waitsfield, VT. The barn is huge and is set up for amazing weddings! The surrounds are appropriately pastoral with even a few cows grazing contentedly on the hillside. There are 12 rooms in the lovely inn. Even if you don't want to have a wedding in the barn or stay in the inn, a drive by to see the round barn is a must. I asked the innkeeper if she knew the origin of the round barn and she told me that among the early Shakers, the idea of the round barn is that there would be no corners for the devil to hide in. She was not positive about this tale, but very interesting.

The area is peaceful, the staff are wonderful and you can't beat the music. We saw Elizabeth Von Trapp there and there wasn't a bad seat in the (round) house! I highly recommend.

We went to a wedding there. It is a beautiful location. The buildings and grounds were well maintained. The food was excellent and the staff was very professional and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to have a function.
