We searched for this shop on our way through Waterbury. It's location is a little tricky to find I you're unfamiliar with the area. I'm glad we kept looking. The shop owner was very knowledgeable, and even if you don't drink tea you'll enjoy the quick visit. The owner took us out to his herb garden after we made our purchase and he had us try different things we didn't even know exist! He even pulled up a few pieces and gave us some seeds to plant our own herbs! I will b returning and until then I will be purchasing products on the website.

A little difficult to find unless you're looking for it, well worth the trip. The owner is very knowledgeable about the history of tea, has different samples and a large selection for sale. There is also accessories and pleasant conversation. We learned quite a bit about the culture of tea, the correct way to brew different teas including length of brewing, water temperature, etc.

We stopped in at Liberty Tea Company and what a terrific visit! The owner shared his knowledge of the teas, as well as his garden outside! We had some delicious tea and left feeling great about our purchases!

This is a great tea company with tea samples and tea education. We enjoyed sampling different teas and learning how to brew each type. The owner is very helpful and he has a nice herb garden he will also provide information on, if you ask!

Vermont Liberty Tea Company is a great place to visit. There is a good variety of different kinds of tea, including scented and blended tea. The owner is very nice, knowledgeable and friendly and he gave us an overview of the the history of tea and a free tasting of freshly brewed tea. One of the teas we got there- Jasmine Gold Dragon- soon become the favorite drink of the house! We will definitely stop by the next time we are in the area.

The proprietor helped me pick out the perfect tea blend, and chatted with us for a nice long visit. You have to go down a narrow street right by the bridge to find it. I would highly recommend the experience and products.

I love tea and was determined to find this store! It is tucked away behind some other businesses, but is worth the effort. Many varieties of tea, including free samples of several to try in the store. Knowledgeable owner who was willing to both let us browse and share his tea information freely when asked. Very friendly, clean store front; also had some shipped to a friend for a gift and it arrived promptly. Great teas, good varieties, good quality. Also available online, which is a plus for re-ordering favorites!

I stopped in for a gift package and stayed for nearly an hour. The walls are covered in history, including things about tea you never knew (like tea bricks were used as currency as recently as your grandmothers days!) Nice man helped me out.

I am a tea drinker and visit any tea shop I can find. Vermont Liberty Tea is really special! The tea variety is wonderful, along with lots of very interesting info on any tea I purchased or inquired about. A very nice surprise on our vacation in Vermont. Very enjoyable!!
