This is what small town bars should be. Friendly, non meat market and fun. The bands that play here also jam bigger bar scene places in both Cinci, Newport, Covington and other places in a 100 mile radius. It has a mix of locals, band followers, and people who come just to play pool. Friendly crowd, not prone to fights. Everyone has a good time. Cover is always reasonable. Drinks are so cheap, you wonder how they stay in business. The back has a stage are with high tops and tables. Sound here is good and the bands are mix bag. The front has a bar to seat several and again pool tables. It is not some swanky martini bar in Over the Rhine nor it is the seedy looking but safe to enter log cabin bars in Clermont County. Ok, ladies.. I know you will ask "But what about the bathrooms?" You won't feel like you get kidnapped like those places in Clifton. White, sparkling and well lit. Have a place to hang your purse. (Guys, This is why girls go in pairs. Mystery solved.)So grab a less than $3.00 a bottle High Life, listen to some good music, shoot a round of pool or order a pizza. It is a good time.
