Avaiable to rent for groups (I.e. church picnics, work parties). Small humble amusement park featuring two smaller roller coasters (Teddy Bear and Tornado) train ride, carousel, whip, scrambler, kiddie boats and cars, and much more. The first time I went with low expectations, but found the park enjoyable. Shorter lines and quicker off and on loading periods than larger parks. Food available including cotton candy, ice cream, snow cones, etc . . . I think food can be brought in, and companies or youth groups sometimes provide/sell/cook hot dogs and corn on the cob.

Nice family atmosphere and great prices. Feels like you take a step back in times. We have a great time every time we go. Fun for all ages. The you feel like you are at home in backyard with lots of fun rides and don't forget the train.

Stricker's, which is sadly only open a few times a year, is amazing. For the same price you'd pay at a traveling midway fair, you can enjoy roller coasters and an assortment of well maintained rides. The kids had the time of their lives and the adults enjoyed a sense of nostalgia riding the Tilt-a-Whirl and listening to classic rock music. We almost missed it, because we assumed it would be closed due to rain. On a whim we stopped by and were thrilled to find it open and running. The rain kept the crowds reasonable and there was no waiting in line. It is a great option for a day out with the family. It was free to go into the park and $14 per adult for unlimited rides

this place has 1 bigger roller coaster, 1 kids roller coaster, a lot of games, a merry go round, tea cups, and a ferris wheel. its good for a family picnic, but thats all i would suggest it for.

It has been a few years since I have gone, but I don't believe that it has changed. It is so nice to have a small amusement park that is very clean and has the old-time family-friendly atmosphere. (My children are now grown is why I haven't been in awhile but I may find an excuse to go!).

We have been regular visitors to Stricker's for about the past 5-6 years, (We heard about through one of our coaster clubs forums). You'll pass by antique malls in Ross, OH, and then just out of town surrounded by corn fields is a roller coaster...kind of quirky in it's own way. It's about half kiddie rides, and half classic rides for all other ages. Both coasters, The Tornado and The Teddy Bear were built by the late Ralph Stricker, and are surprisingly great rides for a man not known for building roller coasters.SG however, is not a seasonal amusement park, for lack of a better term, it's a special event park most of the time. Meaning you can rent the park out for all sorts of events. They do have 2-3 times a year when they open the park to the public, (usually late-spring, 4th of July, and the 2nd Sunday in October). I don't look at this as a negative though. Unlike having a season pass to the mega-park in the area, (which I do), going to Stricker's is special because it's NOT something you can do all the time. On those special open-to-the-public days, drinks are typically FREE, and the food, which consists of corn on the cob, hot dogs, burgers and all are cooked over the coals. Parking is typically FREE, and you typically allowed to bring in your own picnics. If you get a chance to go to Stricker's...jump all over it! What a great experience! And if you're like me and are a "40-something" take your kids and let them see that a great amusement park doesn't have to be 300+ acres and cost $50.00 to get in.

Check out the big wooden coaster-- one of the best I have ever ridden. The Old Skool Butterfly is amazing. this place will take you back to the 60s right now

Wonderful old timey feel about the entire place. Clean, good well run rides, all in a relatively compact area so you are not walking forever from ride to ride like at Kings Island. Good value and no one has ever left feeling less than thrilled. Great fun on the cheap.

Stricker's Grove is a throwback to small amusement parks meant for kids. It sits in the middle of a cornfield and only has a dozen or so rides, but is perfect for a relaxing summer evening.The days it is open are sporadic. Check first.

this place is small but the setting is wonderful for families to enjoy the country

We have our parish family fun day here & we love the rides, esp the roller coaster.

Small park but fun for family & compant picnics,, family reunions, or just a day out.
