I expected more. There were very few interactive exhibits. I don't consider "Madden 15" an interactive exhibit. The super bowl movie was very good. There was another video with sounds of the game that was also good. The presentation by the 2 volunteers about "defunct or not defunct"Was also very good. $24 per person and then get hit with a $10 parking charge inside the building was a little steep. I am glad I saw it but feel no need to back.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame is a shrine for the shoulder-padded in Canton, where the National Football League was founded in 1920. Entrance is a bargain; at $22, that's 90 percent less than the average ticket for an NFL game this season. While in Canton, pay your respects to William McKinley, whose presidential library is open seven days a week.
Lots of things to see from the early days till just recently. This was my third trip over the last twenty years and I've had fun every time.
I have visited the place several times since I live in the area. It has great displays, and I enjoy the theater. My biggest complaints are: the $10.00 parking fee, which I think is terrible. The reason for the lower mark is because the facility is not very accessible in some parts; especially the section to get to where the theater is at. They also have this big heavy door you have to open to get a wheel chair through. I don't understand why they don't have a button to press to make it easy to get through.
Very nice place.....staff is very friendly.......the short programs they put on are great. Lots of great information.......we spent about four hours. You could speed more.
My family and I visited and had a great time. The fee to get in was very reasonably priced. The exhibits took several hours to view, but it was not an overwhelming experience. I would definitely go back one day.
If you are a football fan this is a must stop. Very nicely laid out with many video exhibits as well as the history of the league. Not really a great spot to gain a further appreciation of the football league.
Went as a teen, liked it. Don't see a big reason to go back. Perhaps if I liked football more I would.
I think growing up around the Hall of Fame and the lack of decent Browns football in the last 20 years has really soured me to the Hall. I don't know why, but I expected more. Not sure what else it could have given me. When you boil it all down, it's simply an NFL museum with a fancier name. Prepare to be underwhelmed unless you are a history buff or someone who's interested in getting to know more about celebrities.
We stop at the Hall of Fame last Saturday with all our employees and Families. This place is enjoyable for young and all ages. Staff did awesome job with our group. We will diff be back.
What a great sports hall of fame to visit. Was able to learn more about pro football. Is was great seeing the bust of legendary players of the game of football who I grew up watching play.
Outstanding staff! So many neat artifacts from the past. Excellent presentations especially the movie on Bill Walsh from the San Francisco 49ers. You can't miss that one! The souvenir store was great, so big, organized, clean, had the best souvenirs from every team. They had a $10 off for military discount which I thought was nice. My favorite part was the busts and the Superbowl rings and Superbowl Trophy for next year. The only thing that I can say that I didn't like was the parking fee and the price to get in. It was a little high. $25 to get in, $10 to park.
Every fan of football has to make a visit to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on their bucket list. From the interactive displays to videos, and of course the actual hall with the busts of the players, coaches and others that have made such a contribution to the sport one could get lost in here for hours, plan at least half a day for sure.
Hall of Fame is not only a great place to visit on a personal basis if you love football, but an unbelievable venue for conferences and business meetings. We have now hosted with my company several events for not only customers but internal meetings. It's a touchdown from all attendees for sure. You get to walk thru the HOF on breaks and before or after the meeting. The staff is phenomenal as well. Very friendly, helpful and they go out if their way to make sure all aspects of your meeting goes well. They can provide lunch, snacks and drinks as well depending how long you are there. In the last few years the HOF had done a lot of renovations and is a great place to host meetings with a lot more renovations in the future coming. If your looking for a unique location to host a meeting in the Canton/Akron area this is the place! Enjoy!
