Went here to beat the cold and shoot indoors. The indoor gun range was nice, only thing though bullet casing were frequently going into other shooting lanes and I for one don't like getting hit with hot brass. The gun shop looked very nice with big selection however, I did not browse. Can not say anything about outdoor facilities as it was -3* out.

My wife and I have never shot a handgun before. Took the Beginning Handgun Clinic taught by David Jackson for 2 1/2 hours, normally 3 hours but was small group of only 5 students. We researched where we could learn to shoot and we chose Black Wing (2 1/2 hour drive from home). We are glad we did. Wonderful staff and facility. The location is well maintained, even the restrooms with Dyson hand dryers.We had called before booking the class and staff were able to guide us on which courses would be good for us. We are going back for our Concealed Carry Course and Beginning Shotgun Clinic.The class was a great beginners course going over basic handgun information and handling unloaded guns with dummy ammunition for approx. 2 hours in class. Then shooting on the range for about 30 minutes with the instructor reinforcing good shooting habits while examining our shooting. As you can tell from us using our instructors name, David Jackson, we were happy with his experience and teaching skills. Instructor kept course moving and entertaining. Following the course Instructor even gave us a tour of the facility and recommendations on furthering our enjoyment with shooting for fun and for developing defensive gun skills, also tips on how to decide which gun to purchase.Class offerings and costs are well described on business website.

I have been to Black Wing a handful of times in the past few months. Incredible selection of firearms, top notch trap range, and a pretty nice shooting range. It's my "#2" go-to range only because of cost; I usually go to a state range down the road that is considerably less expensive if you're fully equipped (i.e., thrower, targets, etc). I have a friend that is just getting into shooting, and Black Wing is a great place to go for him to try out different firearms without having to purchase.

Great place to trap shoot, nice indoor range and gun shop. Prices are a little high, but top quality all around. Great people, very helpful and courteous.

We are from out of town. Went here and used indoor shooting range. Fee to use a lane on the indoor range was $20 with $10 for another person to share same lane. We used two lanes so was $40. Can stay as long as you want. They sell ammo, prices good. Friendly helpful staff. Nice store. Enjoyed the visit. Looks like they have nice outdoor ranges too. Since they hold your driver's license until you leave BE SURE AND GET YOUR LICENSE BEFORE YOU LEAVE.

Nice set up. Several lanes for target shooting. Lots of items in the store for your shooting needs. Good customer service.

Generous number if shooting stations plus new field simulated shooting range a big plus . Very good prices for shooting and all guns, gear etc. Really good place for corporate outings .

Wonderful place for pistol or skeet shooting. Woman friendly event. Great gun and shooting supplies with knowledgable staff.

Blackwing has knowledgeable personnel that will steer you in the correct direction if you wish to purchase a firearm.They also hold the best concealed carry classes where you learn what you need to know.Their ranges are the best around and monitored by competent personnel. If you are doing something wrong or unsafe while on the range, they will stop all on the range and correct the problem to prevent any unsafe actions. They are always very professional.My wife and I are members and use the range regularly. They are family orientated.

Me and my husband go here on dates. Yes dates we both enjoy shooting and this is close to home. Not bad pricing.

We went to Blackwing for my father in law's 70th birthday. We had been there before and knew what to expect. Again the staff was great, we took three kids with us, 10 to 13, and they were very gracious to kids on their first shotgun outing. You pull your own clays with a card that keeps track of birds pulled. This was fortunate because we must have pulled 50 rabbits at one station while the kids shot at the bouncing, rolling orange "rabbit".

Went to their shooting range with my wife. The shooting range is ok, I have no complaints about it. But the people who work there are incredibly rude and look like they don't even want to be there. The guy at the counter gave us a paper to read and sign. We weren't even finished reading it when he yanked it from us, like we were taking too long. Like I said, rude people who work there and their price is high. Not worth it, I wouldn't go back.

Clean, well maintained, helpful staff, great facility. The indoor range is small but very nice and of high quality. The shotgun sports are well represented here and they cater to anyone from first timers to experts.

Huge selection of guns and accessories. New and used. Great shooting range indoor and Skeet range outdoors. Employees are very knowledgable and helpful. We go there frequently and recommend it to all our friends and family.
