Love their wine! Buy it by the case. The reds are my favorite but they also have a delicious sweet white.
We come in often as we live in the area and are never disappointed! Always great service and the wine is heavenly. Back to the 40's Red is a favorite, as is Doggone Good. Keep up the good work.
Nice little cheese house and winery. There was a nice selection of wines, though most were on the sweet side. Staff was pleasant, 5 tastings for $1 and some cute gifts. Parking is tight, so I recommend parking at the Breitenbach Winery across the street (you'll want to stop there anyway) and walking over.
We loved all the wine we tasted! The hospitality was awesome and I even got some cheese and 3 bottles of wine!
Stop there as often as we can,They take a wine and put different type of mixers in it,all that we have tried have been very good
I actually enjoy the wines here more then Breitenbach. Seems there are not so many sweet wines on the menu. The cheeses are also well made, tasty, sharp, mild, etc. Service is always given with a smile. 5 samples for $1 is also a solid deal as its nice to taste everything on the menu. Looking forward to returning.
We always make this one of our stops when in the area visiting. They have decent wines and good cheese/dips. One of my favorite things here is that they always have a sangria that they make and will instucions on how to make it. They have a lot of interesting retail items for sale too. Seems like my wife always finds something for the house there. It is walking distance to another winery and great way to try several different types of wines in one stop.
We stopped in on a Saturday with a small group of B&B guests. The wine tasting bar had a really nice set up...they got 5 samples for $1.00 and they had a sheet describing each of the samples. On the counter at the wine tasting bar they had cheese samples, pickled cucumbers, veggies, and pretzels with dip to accompany the wine. They also make an awesome Sangria on the weekends that everyone raved about. They are located inside Broad Run Cheese where people bought some tasty cheeses to accompany their wine. There was a gift shop on site as well with a variety of items. The staff could not have been more friendly and were very helpful in answering any questions about the various wines and the cheese too. They tend to sell mostly sweet and semi-sweet wines but if you like a good Cabernet then be sure to sample, Cheesemakers Red
Very friently place with varitey of wines. Great wine dog and gift shop with cheese and other snacks. Good location and easy to get to.
This winery and the Broad Run Cheese House had a quaint entrance and pleasant people working there, but the wine was average.
The cheese was very good. Parking was a little tight. There are three wineries in the area altogether. This one seemed to be more of a cheese house.
This Swiss styled building had a lovely little wine tasting area combined with a deli and a gift shop. They had a reasonable variety of wines, well stocked. There were many samples of cheese, crackers and deli meets set our around the room. I found the Cheesemaker's red wine to be to my liking and found out from the fellow serving the samples that they get their grapes from Niagara - no wonder I liked it! Very large variety of items in the gift shop and very friendly staff.
Winery and cheese factory combination. Fabulous. Staff is very friendly, lots of coordinating snacks, crackers, dips and cheeses to compliment the various wines. Freshest cheese I have ever had.
We really enjoyed this quaint little store. We didn't love the wine as much as the Breitenbach wines. However, they do have some very good samples of dips and salsas. It is right next door to the other winery. So, it is worth stopping.
The wine here is good, the staff friendly....and its combined with a cheese shop that sells the best swiss cheese - its fantastic. I wish they had a place to enjoy some wine and some cheese on the premises. They would draw in a great deal more business if they offered their guests a little more options.
