Dear Nina,I know that we have been playing phone tag with each other but I am looking forward to speaking with you as we like to ensure that all of our guests have a wonderful experience; especially since you had the impression that your technician didn’t care. We very much like to have our guest’s feedback and make adjustments as we hear what could be better and some of our recent feedback from our prenatal massage guests was that they felt there was too much talking and just wanted to relax and enjoy the time. We have already spoken to our staff that perform prenatal massages and showed them your review that indicated that you would have preferred more interaction – which they all took to heart. Also, the colors and the lighting in all of our massage rooms were designed by a professional so that it leads to that very quiet and relaxing time perfect for massages – kind of like a baby in a womb. But again with your feedback, the technicians will not only be asking about the pressure of the massage and your comfort level but also asking what level of lighting can make our guests feel comfortable too. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience, we all wish you the very best for a great and healthy pregnancy and a wonderful happy baby!
I’m so pleased that you liked what was done with your hair and that you enjoyed your visit. I know if our hair looks good, we feel good! We do try to keep the spa as quiet as possible because our intention is that it be an oasis of calmness and relaxation that is good for the mind and body! I hope that if you find yourself in our area again, you will be able to stop in for another relaxing visit.
Dear Delilah,I am so happy that you got an opportunity to pamper yourself at the spa and delighted to hear that you plan on coming back again!! I just wanted to touch base and reassure you that it is very uncommon to have children at the spa. Like you, many people come as an escape from all their everyday cares, so most of our guests do not bring their children. However, we are a resort town and families do come to the area and occasionally someone does bring their child with them as babysitting is not always available when on vacation. It is rare, but it does happen.I look forward to you returning and having another opportunity to relax and unwind and when you leave, you’ll be able to say that it was not only wonderful, but calm, soothing and quiet like most of our guest’s experience at the spa!
I came to the spa on a referral from a friend of mine and have been coming back ever since Nicole does a wonderful job on my hair. I would love to see the spa expand so that the guests and staff have more space and have separate area for pedicures and manicures.
I visited 3+weeks ago for a pedicure as we were staying at the lodge.... About a two minute drive away! The place smelled heavenly with very relaxing music softly playing. The area was impeccably clean. The technician did a great job on my pedicure, and it still looks perfect today. I paid about $50 including tip, which I didn't think was bad. I definitely will be back next year, and plan on adding a facial for my little spa day!
My husband and I visited the spa while we were staying at The Lakehouse Inn. I am 30weeks pregnant and received a full body prenatal massage. My therapist was wonderful! She was friendly and made sure I was very comfortable. The massage itself was amazing. I have never been more relaxed in my life!! Overall I am very impressed! Great addition to our getaway weekend!
I had some eyebrow waxing done & the girl who took care of me was awesome! She was very professional & really took her time to get the waxing done. I was very happy with the service!
I go for massage with Susan weekly and she is very very good. I have been getting massage for 30 years and have had them in several countries. The front staff is always very friendly. I like that it's quite the rooms are nice and am very happy I found this place.
My two friends and I had a wonderful experience at the Spa at the Lakehouse Inn. I had a massage and my friends had facials. We were very pleased with our experience. The spa was one of the cleanest we have ever seen. The receptionist was so kind and helpful when we were trying to decide on what services to have. We were very pleased with our choices and the employees were great. Thank you for a wonderful addition to a great getaway weekend!
This is a beautiful Spa. Very contemporary and the staff was very friendly. Keurig coffee machine in lobby with electronic flat screen fire simulation on the wall. Had a coupon to get a discounted 60 minute massage, and it was perfect! Correct pressure and tables and rooms were well maintained. Hot towels were a nice surprise addition.
I found your review on Yelp about a week ago and double checked my e-mail to find that indeed, I had not responded and immediately sent you an e-mail to apologize that I missed it and I also responded last week to the review on Yelp as well. I would like to publicly apologize for missing your e-mail again.Secondly, since I read your account on Yelp, I did go and find the e-mail that I missed and then did some research and checked with the technicians that took care of your party. Both of them assured us that they did not redo your entourage's nails again on the second day. One of the ladies informed a technician that she was concerned about her toe nails because she said they usually chip and the technician offered to put on a gel top coat to help keep the chipping to a minimum and did so at no charge of course. I am very surprised that you had any issues at all as we use a top of the line polish for our manicures and pedicures - OPI and typically our guests are happy with the results. I wish you had come back in when you noticed an issue as the technicians would have been happy to take care of your nails. As to your bill, I'm sorry if you don't have a copy to see the breakdown, but I wanted to assure you that you did not pay $90 for a manicure. The total was $104.41 which was $39 for the manicure, $5 for the French tip, the pedicure was $39 as well and then a gratuity of $16 and of course tax was in there. I just wanted to reassure you that we don't charge $90 for a manicure. Again, my apologies for not getting back to you and I wanted you to know that none of the ladies that came in the next day had to have their nails redone, which I'm sure is a relief to hear. I'm not sure what happened with your nails and I wish we had the opportunity to have assisted you. I'm glad you had a wonderful wedding and wish you many happy years together.
My girlfriends and I went to the Spa at the Lakehouse Inn for a second year in a row during an annual getaway to the lake. The staff was very friendly and I had the best massage ever in over 10 years! The Spa atmosphere is well decorated and calming just as a spa should be. The staff were very accommodating to add in a toe polish change for me despite their busy schedule. I believe their prices to be comparable to receiving spa services while vacationing but slightly higher than I am used to paying. All in all it was worth it and we will be back!
