A great place to get some exercise and walk your dog.. A two mile walk around the beautiful lake on a well maintained trail is so relaxing.. "Stuff" for the kids to do.. Grill a hot dog or two?? This is a very nice place to go on a warm summer evening to spend a few hours..

For a city park, this is a nice place. I wouldn't come across country to visit. But if you live in or near Hudson, or happen to be in town, and you'd like a nice place for a walk, this is great. The main trail around the lake is paved. It is a little up and down, which makes for some nice views and a little more exercise, but you should be aware if you are less able or a pushing a stroller.

Worth a visit before sunrise, you never know if it's going to be great but it's usually a nice view, sometimes huge flocks of Starlings doing aerobatic manoeuvres and nice colours in the fall.

Whether you want to hike the trails or sit by the lake, this park is convenient and clean. Safety is excellent and all of the surrounding neighborhoods abut the park.

Excellent place to view migrating waterfowl in the spring, especially of common loons and buffleheads.

This park had many geocaches for our hunting pleasure. This was the perfect park to grab some geocaches before returning to our hotel. Very nice clean and safe park to enjoy.

Bring your row boat and a picnic basket or bicycle and kids. Lots to do to spend an afternoon here. Frisbee golf, nice playground for the kids or do a little fishing while you're there. Great for families or couples wanting to spend some quality time together.

Nice large park with pond and good size old school style playground. Plenty of green space and walking trails too.

A great place for an evening picnic.. Swings and things for the kids.. I liked the two mile easy walk around the lake.. Dog friendly.. Fun, fun, fun...

Hudson Springs Park is one of the nicest places to visit. The walk around the lake is 1.8 miles, although there are a few extensions possible. The walk is up and down hills, so a little more strenuous than a straight path, however, the path is well maintained so one can walk easily. It is a great place to get some exercise in a beautiful environment. There are several places to sit on benches and enjoy the view/environment.

We stopped in for a Sunday morning walk. There were a handful of families using the park facilities. We chose to walk the nearly 2 mile path around the lake. We saw some people fishing along the shore, several people jogging or walking their dogs, and saw plenty of local birds and squirrels. This was our first visit as we are not from the area but, if you are looking for somewhere to take a quiet walk or enjoy a jog or play with the kids on the playground equipment, this is worth a stop.

Was looking for a place to take fall pictures when a local told me about Hudson Springs Park. During the summer months there is fishing in the lake which cost 10.00 the lake is stocked with bass and bluegill fish. Otherwise I think the park is free. There is a huge kiddy playground, beautiful paths that circle around the lake for walking, picnic areas and some kind of golf. I also saw a row of boats with oars that can be rented. While I was there many people took advantage of the walking/jogging paths that are about 2 miles total. I got a lot of great pictures and will come back in the summer time to take advantage of the beautiful lake.
