30+ miles of nice paved biking/walking trails. The only negative is that the bike trail crosses several fairly busy roads

18.4 miles long between Butler and Mansfield. A greet paved trail for biking, walking, blading and fitness. Country sites, wooded stretches, passing through small towns such as Bellville and Butler. We cross country skied there during winter times.

We spent a lot of time on this trail. Hardly ever crowded! Lots of places to stop in surrounding towns for shopping or snacks. Also, we have rented a bike a few times at The bike shop in Lexington. Good service and nice bikes. Start in Lexington, ride to Butler, have lunch and then ride back!

Was under a lot of stress with father's declining health, stopped at the path and did Lexington to Butler and back. Stress free when I was done. Path had few on it and cleared my mind. Have done both ends of path, enjoy this way better, Belleville is a coll little town, very scenic. Other direction to North Lake Park involves crossing several times at the busy highway, breaks up your enjoyment. Ususally do several times in the summer, this was the only one this year, but will try to get there often next summer!

Beautiful bike trails! It took us 2 different times to finish the trails through Mansfield. A lot of different scenery from woods, to parks, to little towns, to old beautiful brides, to something that looks (and might be) a vineyard.

This is now my favorite Bike trail! There are nice little towns to stop at along the old railroad bed converted to a bike path. Has good parking locations, scenic views, shaded path and good food stops along the way. Especially like the Wiffletree restaurant at the one end of the bike path in Butler.

One can start in many different places and can do about 40 miles round trip. Lots of cool and shade along the way, but BYOB. If you are into geocaching, more than 120 caches can be found.

Gem of a trail. In Lexington is a trailside bike shop, YNot where you can rent a bike. In Butler is a great little restaurant, the Wifflehouse. 100% paved.

The trees provided shade from the sun and wind protection. The trail is perfect. No hills, very peaceful. We visit family in Mansfield every year and always bring our bikes just for this trail.

Rode from Bellville to Mansfield and, despite a wicked headwind, enjoyed the beautiful scenery and well-maintained bike path. Would highly recommend this trail to anyone visiting the area.

Richland County should be proud of the quality of this bike trail. The trail offers 36 miles of round trip riding. Smooth and very little elevation change make for a very nice walk of bike trip. A couple of busy highway crossing points need to be approached cautiously. Plenty of stopping points along the way to take in some of the nice scenery the Clearfork Valley has to offer. Nice gem in central Ohio.

A great place for a walk, jog, or bike ride. Been on quite a bit of it, though not the full length. It goes from Mansfield to Butler so you can make a day of it for sure. Have walked the dogs there as well. A little more traffic some days than others, but I've never seemed crowded. In the nicer weather months you can stop at a few places not far off the trail for icecream or potty breaks as well. It's pretty flat so it won't wear you out to bad if you aren't much for hills and things. Worth an afternoon if you are in the area and need a little outdoor activity.

It's a lovely trail, smooth and well kept. It follows a meandering creek, there is plenty of shade and scenery. You can stop at parks along the way, some have rest room facilities. If you want to cut off the trail for a bit there are places of interest nearby, an ice cream shop at one end, shops along the way, places to eat and drink. Best to get an idea of where you want to stop before you hit the trail otherwise you may never find them, for example there are no signs that say "food 5 mi ahead" with an arrow to point the way. If you want to rent a bike/equipment there is YNOT bike shop in Lexington, a bit pricey but it's there for ya if you like. Oh don't forget the bug spray.
