This is a nice little ski resort. If you are a good skier this place will not challenge you - but if you are just looking for some fun times on the slopes instead of being at work... this is your place. I was here for 2 hours and 15 minutes and got in 25 runs. The runs are short but during the day there were no lift lines. It was all man made snow but nicely groomed. I ate at the Last Run Deli and Bar... amazing food and actually normal prices. On a side note - this looks like a great place to learn. I will have no issues spending an entire day her with my daughter.

This was my first time here at the end of December 2014. It is a small attraction located right off I-71 in Mansfield. It is a small snow ski place with no black diamonds and a tubing hill. Not all the ski lifts were open due to not having "actual snow" at the time. My boyfriend and I only did skiing because of the amount of money we were spending just for skiing. They're snow machines did a great job at providing something to ski on. Downfall of this place was that the trails were loaded with ice. If you are like me, I prefer "real snow" to ski over.Snow Trails only has one ski lodge. The food was ok but on the pricey side. So suggestion here would be to go into town (which is only about 5-10 minute drive from there) and get something say at Applebee's or any other fast food joint. There is ample parking available, so don't worry.

This is our 3rd year coming to snow trails. We are from Tennessee and was told about this place and have kept coming back. Skiing is great. The ski patrol is wonderful and are close by immediately if you need help. All staff is super nice. Food in cafe is not a bad price. A family of four ate for $25 or less. Will be coming back.

I was pleasantly surprised there are many small ski resorts in this area. Snow trails is really small, with only a few trails and each run was really short. I spent more time on the lifts than actually skiing. But it's better than nothing!

This was so fun! We had so much to do around the house, but just decided we had to get out. (Cabin Fever.) Our college kid came home and we took her (18), and a 16 and 11 year old. There were a couple of things that were frustrating. It is expensive, and we went at a time where we were limited to two hours for what we were willing to pay. (25 per person). Also, we chose a time when they were busy, so we waited in line for a long time to get to the top. That meant we could only go down the slides 5 times total. But I still gave it a five because it was so much fun for all of us. It's just a fabulous way to bond. Also, the staff was super fun and funny. Especially those working at the top of the hill. They acted like every group was fun, new, and unique, when the reality is that they do this day in and day out. But they sure didn't act like that. They were constantly smiling and laughing at themselves and all smiles at all of us.One recommendation I would have for them is to put in cameras like they have on roller coasters. If they could have captured the five of us, with all of our tubes attached to each other, screaming our way down a hill, I would totally have bought that picture. The recommendation I would give you is to go on a weeknight, when the crowds are a bit lighter and you aren't limited to two hours. That's our January plan!

This is my second review... and I feel it is necessary to repeat myself. My family and I visited again... it's been almost a year since our last visit. Snow Trails must have a special training course for customer service that all employees are required to attend! From the rental staff, to the lift pass sellers, to the ski area staff, to the bartenders (Extra shout out to Jeff and Robin - top notch!)... these employees ARE the definition of customer service. While it is a smaller ski resort without the amenities of the large places, they more than make up for it in how they treat their customers!

Love the season passes for tubing! We drive about an hour to get there but on some nights it is not busy and we can enjoy the hills, talk to the employees and have a great meal in the lodge. Get there when it opens on Saturdays so you can get 2-3 hours of tubing in before it gets busy (crowds and buses!) Great facility and super to be in the fresh air!

They offer many different terrains along with a sledding hill. The snow is always good. They do offer a ski-check for when you go inside and not have to worry about someone taking your equipment, but they charge you for the service on a per-use basis...I wish this could be free like it was a few years ago. They offer a full bar with a walk-out patio.

I was so surprised because Snow Trails offers handicap snowboarding (not sure of skiing). However, when we visited with our grandson, the handicap parking spaces were all blocked by some sort of tables. There was no access to the upper main viewing level for handicapped (although one employee offered to carry my 250 pound husband in a wheelchair up the steps! The cafeteria which does have viewing windows was the only place we could go. Otherwise very nice place.

Snow Trails is located very close to I-71 and plenty of restaurants (mostly fast food). There are even a few hotels right off the freeway exit. The staff at Snow Trails was very friendly and helpful. My son took part in one of their lesson packages. His instructor was able to teach him some things he had not learned in previous lessons at another, similar resort. By the end of the day, my son was snowboarding down all of the trails... a first for him. From the employees in the rental area, to the instructor, to the bartenders, etc. - all of the staff seemed eager to help out. There aren't a million trails but the number of trails and lifts will keep you busy for a while. We were there on a Saturday and the crowd was very manageable. If you are looking for a one day trip somewhere for skiing or snowboarding, you should definitely give Snow Trails a visit. My only "complaint" would be that by 7:30pm (on Saturday) they started requiring a $5 cover charge just to walk into the main restaurant/bar area. If you don't want to see the band that was playing because you're outside but still wanted to go inside to grab a drink, you needed the $5 wristband. (Granted, if you had a pass for the hills, you did not need to pay $5 for the wristband.)

Yes Skiing in Ohio can be Fun. Snow Trails is a great ski hill close to home. The folks are great treat you like family. The slopes offer a nice variety. When you need to warm up they have great Chili and Hot Coco!Enjoy the Winter!

Ohio's first and finest ski resort. It is Ohio so only 300 feet of vertical but a great place to enjoy winter. The tubing park is also lots of fun and requires no skill to enjoy.

Snow Trails is a great ski resort. They do an awesome job of snowmaking which is needed in Ohio at times. They have great first timer packages and there is a spot for the little ones while mom and dad take off on the hills. Their restaurant has all the typical ski lodge food and is pretty good. They have an awesome ski shop that is a must to stop at either before or after your day on the slopes. There is usually a band playing on the weekends after 9 p.m. The ski carnival towards the end of ski season is also a must visit activity.

We went here to go snow tubing and it was so much fun! There's a conveyor belt that takes you to the top of the hill. There are single, double and kids sized tubes. I would recommend this for all ages. There's also a little warming hut/snack shack at the bottom of the tubing hill. After tubing, we had lunch and drinks at the ski lodge restaurant. Good food, large portions and reasonably priced.

The staff was awsome, everyone was friendly, and polite.. Great atmosphere.. The bar can get a bit crowded, but they do have a very nice selection of wine.
