deer creek state park

I had a great time visiting the dog beach at Deer Creek State park. It's about one hour away from Central/downtown Columbus. I heard about it from a friend who said that the park had gone down hill, since she was a kid. From a fresh eyes perspective, I thought it was awesome. There aren't any concessions, but it was clean. There are two sides - the dog beach and the people beach. If you're driving from the north, you need to pass the park entrance, then the marina entrance, and finally the third is the beach entrance. It's so much fun to watch dogs play with each other and romp in the water.
