First time visitors to the 44th world of 100 late model race. Very impressed. Good price for tickets. A very fun time.
We've been coming to Eldora for over 20 years, and are still LOVING it!!! It's a fast track with ticket prices and concessions that are affordable for all, and you really should not miss it. We enjoyed the NASCAR Mudsummer Classic again this year, camping for a week prior to the race is a great way to spend time with our kids! I will say I think our favorite will always be the sprint cars at this track! MIND BLOWING speed, and the guys bob and weave through traffic (inches from the wall) like nothing you've ever seen before. If you get a chance to come see the "BIG E" ... do it! You won't be disappointed.
Made our second trip from Iowa to the Mudsummer Classic and it's even better than last year. The crew there did a great job of making sure everything was clean and getting in and out was fairly easy. Last year we were stuck in traffic for what seemed like forever. They stopped eastbound traffic and wouldn't let us through. We ended up turning around and driving miles out of our way. This year we parked smarter and got out easily. The biggest problem was all the detours for construction which wasn't the tracks fault.
This was our first visit to Eldora. We are grass roots race fans and wanted to see the speedway that Tony Stewart saved from extinction. All the personnel were friendly and made you feel at home. This was family night and all seats were only $8. Food only cost between $2 - $4, beer $2, pop $1, popcorn $1.50. You can afford for a young family to take them out at those prices. This night also had free fireworks display. Family racing and entertainment the way I used to remember it when I was young in the 70's!Worth the drive to enjoy: It's a dirt track, however, so don't wear your best clothes!!
First time visitor to this incredible track. Attended the Mudsummer Classic and had a great time. Tony was there and although he was incredibly busy, stopped for a photo. Great raving and friendly staff.
This track is great on many levels from the price of the tickets and food to the courteous staff. Traffic control both entering the races and leaving was among the best of the tracks I've visited around the country.
We drove 10 hours to see two nights of dirt track racing and were not disappointed. The tickets were reasonable, beer was cheap ($2 bucks!), and the concessions were very customer friendly ($2.50 cheeseburger, $2 hot dog, $1.50 soda). Tony Stewart is doing a great job with this track and I hope the NASCAR racing continues (it would be fun to see Nationwide cars there). It was a long drive from NC but I think it is an experience that race fans should see.
Better than we could have ever imagined, racing was over the top. Pristine and well run. It could not have been any better.
I have been to Eldora in the past and Tony Stewart continues to have a great racing venue. He also remembers the fan with reasonable ticket and concession prices. Not to mention he owns a wicked fast race track. If you love dirt track racing check Eldora's schedule when in Ohio and make a stop.
Have been going to the Dream for 8 years now. Excellent, fan-friendly venue with awesome racing. Some of the best racing dollars we spend.
