I have herd of this place on the radio n social media but never expected how welcoming it was friendly people great prices fun dance lessons had so much fun I will defiantly return ..
Wed night is the big night to go. Get there around 9:30pm...Hadnt been here in awhile and was pleasantly surprised to see the place thriving. Id estimate 80% chicks with 80% under 21. Even though my wife and i are in our 30s we had a wonderful time entertaining a 25yr old business guest. he was from dallas and familiar with 'billy bobs' and the other big name honky tonks. He was very impressed with the dusty a on this wed night in jul 2014.My only complaint about this place is its not as big as 'the boot scootn saloon' in cuyahoga falls (now closed) used to be. So there is less room to dance if its a crowded night.Even so, it was nice to see the urban cowboy wannabe foot stompers werent there (they tend to be territorial and direct foot stomps in your direction to scare you away). A very friendly crowd, bar staff, and bouncers even as well.
This is the 3rd time I have been here heard bad things about the staff, how every employee are rude and mean and not helpful at all, all it seems is that the employees are out to get everyone, 3rd time I went there I was trying to get to the front of the stage and an employee jumped out of nowhere and began to push me back and told me if I didn't get to the back of the crowd I was going to get kicked out of the place, 2nd bad thing my friend got in to a fight and there was not 1 employee that helped, but they can kick me out for trying to get to the front of the line, I will not go back to this place ever again it seems everytime you go people are getting kicked out for stupid reasons, horrible place very disappointed.
We herd about this place from someone when we were at Kickin-Kountry in Bolivar, Ohio so we went to check it out. We are from Knoxville, TN area and love to line dance so we got there and from the outside the place was not what we expected, got there at 7:00 for the line dancing on a Friday night which was lady's night, there was around 30-40 people some times more on the floor the entire time we were there. Having that many people on the floor is a good thing but when your from out of town and you've never herd most of the music they play or seen the line dances they dance it's kind of boring. We we're there from 7-10:30 and I don't think we had herd but maybe 10-12 of the songs before. The place wasn't bad inside or in the back and the drinks were reasonable. It was a descent place but I don't think we would go back.
