tallmadge church historic site

This is a gem of Greek Revival architecture preserved on its original site. It is owned by Ohio's state historical society and seems reasonably well maintained. I have had opportunity to see the interior and it deserves an authentic restoration. As it stands, it has too much modification for use by its 20th century congregation. Let's hope it gets an appropriate restoration. Meanwhile, just enjoy the exterior.

Tallmadge Church is part of the Ohio Historic Connection (formerly Ohio Historic Society).Tallmadge Church is federal style architecture and located in the Tallmadge Historic Circle. During the Tallmadge Circle Festival (August), this site was open and they had "Historic Vignettes" presentation. Otherwise, call ahead to ask about hours of operation or to book the place for an event.
