the upton house

The home of Harriet Taylor Upton was the headquarters of the National American Woman Suffrage Association when she was the treasurer starting in 1903. The house is maintained by an association and is open to the public for prearranged tours and on special days. One room is a small suffrage museum. Both the house and gardens are a community resource used by various community groups and individuals for events such as small weddings, teas, etc.
