Went yesterday for the first time in 20 yrs.....awful! Hardley anyone was there, most booths were empty, went to a booth that sold Bengal hats.."oh, we have a box but forgot them"...??? What? The height of football season and no hats!!!! Did not eat there, no way....I saw junk there not even worthy of a garage sale. Never again....I live in Middletown, on my way to the best ever, Traders World! Do not go to CC, you will regret it.
Spent a few hours here today. Like most flea markets there is a lot of junk but also good deals to be had. Much better & cleaner then traders world. A very good local produce selection at reasonable prices. The entrance is only $1 per car, so that's great too. The negative for me would be the lacking selection of tarts & candles.
I really don't think this place has good deals at all but if your looking for something to do on the weekend and your bored go for it. They have some unusual stuff here that you may not find at a typical store. Anything from baby to pets stuff and furniture but I'd stay away from buying furniture here unless it a good deal.
Ok... this is a Flea Market. Some days are good and others are... well good days to watch people. I visit Wilmington on a fairly regular basis and always stop here to find something for nothing. Some times you win and some times you don't. It is always a great day to get out to walk and of course people watch. They have rebuilt most of the buildings that were lost in the fire. They just reduced parking to just $1. SO you can bring in a car load for $1. I like the vendors outside as they are more willing to deal and occasionally find something inside. It is all in how you set out and I like to look and see if I can find something that I don't really need. A good time if you want it to be!!
I definitely wouldn't go out of your way for this place. There are some interesting booths, but most sell overpriced merchandise that's junk anyways. The vendors on the outside seem to have fairer priced merchandise, and I got a deal on a small piece of pottery for what I would pay at a yard sale. They have a food court and some man was really rocking out at karaoke - It was out of control! The highlight of the trip is when I found a taxidermy cane toad posed to play a mini harp... unfortunately, the man running the booth wanted far too much for him. Too bad. Anyways, I'd only stop again if I were in the area and very desperate to kill some time.
Very permeative and poorly organized market .The time we spent to go there was a total waste.Do not recommend the place at all.
We stopped on a Sunday and alot of the vendors were closed but there were plenty and lots to see. Oh and the food was good and there was live music that was very good.
I shop here about every other week. There are things that I can find here all in one place instead of going to 3 or 4 department stores and wasting my gas. I have made some great friends and will continue going to the flea market for years to come.
I used to go to this flea market as kid with my parents and remember it being so interesting with a lot of variety items. I decided to take a drive for the day and check it out and every aisle had the same junk as the other. I went down every single aisle and found the exact same things and shops. There were a lot of vacant spots as well. No one had the drive to sell an item. Not a single hello, good bye or thank you. Even the outdoor section was gloomy with the same stuff every few steps. The only thing I bought was a bundle of socks for my niece and nephew. I was there and gone within an hour. The website claims more than 20,000 visitors a weekend, don't know where they come up with that number because it felt like a ghost town. I hope it gets worked out because it could really be a great place again.
The place is fun and.cheap everyone.is friendly and. Clean.i will.come back.and.back.again and its.right off the freeway thats what i. Like
Seems like the Ceasar Creek Fleas market has become more commercial and less "Mom and Pop.Still nice produce, plants and flowers to chose from. The outdoor vendors often have some neat surprises.
