I prefer the place next door old germany nice place to take the family,food is great, as for the tavern wont go . if you want to go get drunk im sure the food and prices wont matter to ya you'll probably never notice the taste of the food or the price,as for ,you not liking to be around kids stay at home.

Service was good. Menu limited but came out warm & fresh. Prefer Old Germany nextdoor but this place is a nice hangout to watch a game with friends or get a quick snack.

Finally an upscale tavern with great drinks and no kids! This tavern has the best bar food in town and the burgers are not frozen like a previous reviewer said. Absolutely love this place and love that I can have drinks with friends and do adult things without having Jim, Suzie, and little Timmy looking at me because my language offends them.

I gave Old Germany's new tavern a try and it was as I expected ... the food was pretty good (although my gourmet hamburger was from a frozen patty that is cooked behind the bar) and there is a great drink selection (although very pricy like Old Germany). I've taken the kids there during the day to eat some pizza (only to find out that minors are not allowed). Find a Groupon first then go by yourself or with your better halves.
