We stayed in Medicine Park for the first time last summer, just me and my husband. The park itself is rich with history about how it started out as a resort town. Life has been revitalized with all the shops and boutiques. My favorite is Lulabelle's! The shop reflects the owner's vibrant personality and exquisite taste. She had prepared one of the locally made South of the Border dip mixes and had it out for sampling. It was so good I bought two. And probably ate half the samples. There are one-of-a-kind gifts all offered at reasonable prices. I brought home items for the kids and family which was met with smiles and appreciation.When I visited, the shop was full of customers and the owner was a gracious hostess to each and every one! The atmosphere is lively and festive and even though the shop is on the small side, I could have spent hours poring over the selections. Except my husband was in the car...waiting on me. So I hurried, unfortunately.I still call her and order refills of my favorite things and she ships promptly and packages well. It's a must stop if you're in the park. There's lots of things to see and do and it's a very scenic area. But do visit Lulabelle's!
