I reviewed the hotel and a casino package was included with the stay. I am not a gambler so this may not be as objective as more experienced gamblers may be able to provide. I left as a small time winner, we all did, so yes I was happy. I only went on this road trip to spend some time with my buddies from the days we were excellent teachers. Winning was a bonus. Everything that was included in our package made this a very reasonable outing and "man time" together. I can say we were treated very well. The dealers were very understanding of beginners in the game. They did not pressure anyone. One of my buddies had been here several times with his wife so I would say it must also appeal to at least some women. Yes the smoke did got to me a little. But just remember, you don't go to a casino for health reasons. I had fun and enjoyed it. I am still not a gambler but I may return with my buds.
A colleague and I chose the Buffalo Run Casino for a "meet in the middle" business meeting location. The hotel was on par with a slightly above average Holiday Inn Express; the casino was your typical small casino. Not bad, just small and limited in gaming offerings. The food at the higher-end restaurant was also very average--the wine selection is on the cheap side--I wouldn't pay even modest per-glass prices for Mondavi. The servers, dealers and hotel staff, however, were eager to please and tried to make it a good experience. I think this hotel and casino just needs a little more polish.

First time in this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice but the food I wasn't very impressed with. Our party of three ordered a thirteen dollar chicken fried steak and two 34 dollar porterhouse steaks. One ordered coffee with his meal and it came to the table ice cold. He told the waitress and she replaced it with the excuse that the warmer had somehow gotten turned off. Second cup was as cold as the first. A different waitress brought the third serving of coffee and it was just lukewarm. The salads were ok but I've had just as good or better in a mom and pop café. The chicken fry looked good but appeared to be a piece of meat that had not been tenderized. Looked fantastic on the plate but it was tough. The grilled asparagus that came with all three meals was so shriveled and their were only 3 maybe 4 pieces. The mashed potatoes with my steak and the chicken fry were ok but they were very hard. Not fluffy or creamy just hard packed. The baked potato with the other meal was fine. The 18 ounce Porterhouse steaks were both ordered medium. They were tough and kind of a grayish color. Grill marks but no caramelization. All in all the food was subpar for this class of a restaurant and these kinds of prices. I've eaten a much better steak at much less "exclusive" restaurants. No offer of desert was ever made by the otherwise very friendly wait staff. Bottom line is that The Coleman House is trying to look like a very upscale restaurant. They have a nice atmosphere, they've the "upscale" prices but I've had better food at a truck stop.
We were at the downstream casino resort earlier in the day so anything after that is disappointing. We signed up for a club card & they gave us $10 free play. Free soft drink dispenser. They advertise that there are 925 slot machines. Ceilings are low & it was very smoky inside. We went down the hallway & there was an area where the back door was open. We played there as there was a nice breeze coming in.
The amphitheater provided a spacious area for the concert crowd. You must bring your own chairs, regardless of the sections you purchased tickets for. I didn't appreciate those around me smoking.
stayed for one night. Horrible experience. the smoke smell in the rooms were so over bearing that it took our breath away. The carpets were stained and sticky. there was even a large wet spot on the carpet near the bed that smelled of urine (disgusting). the tub would not drain, there was mold all around the tub. You could smell sewer gases coming from the sink and toilet. Found cigarette butts under the bed and a dirty towel in one of the drawers. House keeping obviously does not do a thorough job. by the time we left, i was totally disgusted. Never again.
Liked: the variety of penny machinesNo particular dislike.Within walking distance to the hotel, which was dirty.Next time, we will play aat this casino but select another hotel in Miami, Iklahoma
I thought the slots were very tight. No one I was there with even won a tiny amount. It is a nice facility though and the food was good. It looks a lot nicer up close than it does from the turnpike!
They advertise the loosest slots but we haven't found that to be true. They do have a large variety of slots. The staff are friendly. The deli has some good sandwiches.
Nice rules for blackjack. Only 5 dollar minimum for 6 deck shoe, 10 dollars for 2 deck play. Can double on any 2 cards. Casino was clean with friendly dealers and pit boss. Free drinks and sign up $5 slot play were added bonuses.
We travel alot with bugright co. Needed some relax time. Casino does not pay out and they are not the loosest slots.
My husband and I stayed overnight at the casino hotel and had a good time. They offer a pretty good deal where you can get $150 in slot play, $25 in table play, $50 dinner voucher and a king room for one night for around $180. They let us split the slot play between the two of us and we were able to double our money. We ate dinner at the steak house which is really good. With our vouchers we were able to get two steak dinners, a couple beers, and desert and it added up to about $62. We had to cover the extra $12 ourselves, I'm definitely not complaining, we thought it was a great deal. The room was nothing special but it was clean and updated. We ventured out to look at the other casinos in town and I feel like this is by far the nicest one.
