river country water park

This is a smaller water park but is very clean, well maintained, well supervised for a price that can't be beat. We've been to bigger parks and spent a ton more money at the larger parks, but we keeping coming back to this park. It can't be beat.

Great fun for a small price. We went with a couple of friends and their kids as well as our kids. It is small enough to let them run around and not have to worry about what they are getting into. The snack bar is also cheap enough to feed the whole family.We go here every year and travel from Tulsa. You should really check this place out.

This place is good for younger kids, sort of. You have to be 4 foot tall to ride their small water slides which is ridiculous. They have bigger slides at Great Wolf Lodge that do not have those height restrictions. Then they do not have a swimming pool. Place was small but worth the entry fee. Good place to stay cool and good for kids under 10. We got their at 11 on a Saturday when they opened. When we left at 2 pm the park was full and they were turning people away. I would recommend going early instead of in the middle of the afternoon if you expect to get in.

Took my kids here to wear them down before the 3.5 hour trip home. They had so much fun they didn't want to leave. The price was affordable. There was something for everyone in the family to do! It was a lot of fun!

Our family loves going to this water park. It's small enough I let my children do as they please here. They are older (11,13,15) so it's a great place to turn them loose. The lazy river nice and the slides are big fun! I like the small, safe environment this water park provides. We don't purchase their food for lunch as it's a little pricy plus I don't like eating hot, fried food outside on a hot summer day for lunch. We pack a picnic and there are tables provided outside of the gate. They let you go back and forth to your car as you please with a stamp on your hand. Don't bother smuggling in your own food or drinks because they are very strict with that policy. Although my bigger boys love this place it's very ideal for younger kids as well. They have a great kiddie area. We get there right as they open to ensure we get our chairs saved for the day and there aren't big lines for the first few hours on the slides and lazy river. Try this place! You won't be disappointed UNLESS you are expecting Big Slash or a white water atmosphere. It's a small, yet nice water park!

This place was great when it opened, but it's always been small and crowded. It's more expensive than it should be for the size.

River Country is a nice little water park, complete with a kiddie pool and a 'lazy river'. Not a very large place, but perfect for family gatherings, parties and end of summer sport celebrations.

This water park is the perfect place to spend a hot summer day with children under 10 yrs of age. It's inexpensive, clean, and has plenty of life guards. But it does lack the bigger slides that would excite older kids.

Overall very good experience. Need more shaded seating but good otherwise. Food decent. Kids love the dippin dots. Plenty of lifeguards at the kiddy pool.

i have a two year old grandson and me and my daughter drove all the way from Sapulpa to try out this park. I HIGHLY recommend it! Wonderful for little kids 10 and under. Very clean and nice staff! We were there all day and didnt want to leave at close.Very enjoyable!!Much better than dirty Big Splash!

For a water park, admission is REALLY cheap. But, don't expect thrills and spills. It's great for a family day trip. There's a nice lazy river, a couple of mid-size water slides, a kiddie water adventure area, and a slightly bigger pool. My family's children range in age from 19 to 8 and everyone found something they enjoyed.

We've had several birthday parties here. And we drive from Tulsa to Muskogee for this! Our guests have no problem driving to this park because they know it's better and cheaper than Big Splash in Tulsa.You won't find deep water or diving here but you do find 2 water slides and 2 water challenges where you hold onto a large rope net and attempt to walk across the back of a alligator to the other side. There is another that is barrels I think. I don't do this one so don't hold me to it.The main pool which is where the above things happen has a gently sloping beachy type of walk in area where you can also just sit and enjoy. The water is not deep and most 10-11 yr olds can touch except for the challenge area and where you come out of the slide. It's a large pool.Then there is the floating river type of pool where you float on an inner tube. I have to say this gets pretty crowded with kids that aren't monitored enough so they push past and annoy your attempt to have a relaxing float. It could use more life guards along the way or a requirement that a parent/adult accompany them with the understanding that they keep the children in line.There is a very large kiddie pool with climbing playground area that has a small water slide and a waterfall underneath. Some more climbing turtles or something like that are also there. It's not over your shins or if you're short you knees. The babies can enjoy with their parents sitting in the water holding them and the younger tots love it!There are so many parents and life guards that any older kids are usually there to be with younger siblings. It's not fun for older kids which is a good thing.I'm not sure about the cost but I think I've only paid $7 to get in the last 3 years. Children are less. This city water park is a big step up from the old city run pools we used to go to as a kid.

Nice place to take the kiddos on a hot summer day. It is not the most extensive water park, but is still fun for families.

Overpriced, small space, and not terribly sanitary. Go to the lake.

Cheaper than a traditional water park, and just as fun for smaller children!
