II love rocks, so I loved this place. Rose rocks are beautiful sandstone formations found only in that tiny area. Great examples in the museum, and fun kitchy items made with Rose rocks by the owners. That are very friendly and seemed to enjoy a serving questions. Great road side Americana!!

I was searching for a place to purchase rose rocks as gifts and found the rose rock museum on the internet. We were travelling down I35 and the small town of Noble is only a few miles off the interstate. We entered town from the north and thought we might have missed the museum because it seemed that we had already left town before we found it.My wife and I were the only ones there. There is a small room with a couple display cases containing some large clumps of rose rock formations. There were a few clippings explaining about the rocks and formation. Two small rooms display a variety of rose rocks and other minerals and fossils. Only a portion of the items are actually from the Noble area. The prices seemed very reasonable and we purchased quite a few small items. If you are in the area, I would recommend taking the few minutes to check it out. If you are looking for rose rocks, it may be worth driving out of your way for.Admission is free.

Mostly a gift shop, but the roses and rosettes are worth going to see if you are in the area. An amazing gift from mother nature, Barite Roserocks are most unusual and found in very few places! The owners are lovely and I bought a couple of unique gifts here for my friends around the world.

Only have gone here when family visited. Small, don't take children unless you want to be nervous the whole time.

Roserocks are only found in three places in the world and Noble, Oklahoma is one of those places. Have you ever seen a miniature Christmas wreath made of tiny stone roses? If not, then visit this museum. You're in for a treat!

If you want to learn a little more about Rose Rock, see some nice samples and have an opportunity to buy some, then you should check it out (if it is not out of your way). I wouldn't make a special trip to Noble, otherwise. I saw some samples of Rose Rock at the Oklahoma Visitors Center in Oklahoma City and was fascinated by them. The greeter told me about this free "museum". Since it was only a little detour off the road to Dallas we decided to stop by. It's a little house with some interesting samples of the rock, but really a creative way for the owners to attract customers to their gift shop. According to their brochure, Joe and Nancy Stine have owned the museum and gift shop since 1971 "when Joe made his first sculpture". The owners are very nice and friendly people and found an interesting way to attract visitors to Noble. If you are expecting a huge attraction, you will be disappointed. They gave us a great recommendation for lunch - Kendall's on Main Street. I bought a modest sample of Rose Rock as a souvenir for just ninety-five cents, although the bigger pieces were $25+.
